Hotel Pick-up If you request a hotel pick-up service on Iriomote Island, the meeting time may differ from the standard schedule. To confirm the exact meeting time, please be sure to contact us via the method listed on your ticket the day before the tour. Participation Requirements SUP: Ages 12–59 Canoeing: Ages 6–59 Pregnant individuals, children under 6, and those with pre-existing medical conditions cannot participate. For Those with Concerns If you are worried about physical fitness or feel anxious about the ocean or rivers, please consult with us in advance. Equipment & Safety For activities involving water, wearing a life jacket, fins, and snorkeling mask is mandatory. If you are unwilling to wear the required equipment, we regret that you will not be allowed to participate. Please follow the guide's instructions at all times to ensure safety. Weather Conditions The tour will proceed even in the rain. However, it may be canceled if the field is deemed unsafe. Clothing & Preparation Please wear clothes that can get wet. There are no toilets at the tour sites, so please use the restroom beforehand. Participation under the influence of alcohol is strictly prohibited. Showers Showers are available at our office. Please bring your own change of clothes and towel. Note: Boarding the ferry in wet clothing may be denied. Languages Tours are conducted in Japanese or English. Depending on booking conditions, the tour may be conducted in Japanese only. Thank you for your understanding.

5.00It was seriously SO much fun! First, the snorkeling at Barasu Island was absolutely next-level. The ocean was incredibly clear, and there were so many different kinds of fish swimming right next to us—it had my excitement through the roof the entire time! Then the mangrove SUP was such a unique experience. Being surrounded by nature like that felt amazing, and honestly, just messing around and having fun with my friends made it even better! The staff were super friendly, kind, and easy to talk to, which made the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. They also took tons of photos for us, so we have great memories to look back on! It was honestly such an amazing experience that I 100% want to go again!

5.00I had an incredible time on this full-day tour. Starting with snorkeling at Barasu Island (the "Miracle Island" made of coral) was magical—the water was crystal clear and the fish were vibrant. In the afternoon, we went SUP/canoeing through the lush mangroves. It was so peaceful and felt like being in a different world. As a UNESCO World Heritage site, the nature here is breathtaking. Highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to experience the best of Iriomote in one day!

5.00I had an amazing experience on this one-day World Heritage tour in Iriomote Island, exploring both the sea and the river. The combination of activities made it truly unforgettable. I especially enjoyed the SUP session through the mangroves. It was peaceful and gave me a close connection to nature. The scenery was beautiful, and it felt like a unique way to experience the island. The snorkeling at Barasu Island was also incredible. The water was crystal clear, and I was able to see so many colorful fish and coral. It was one of the best snorkeling experiences I’ve ever had. Most of all, Sen-chan’s guidance was absolutely the best. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire tour fun and safe. Thanks to him, the whole experience became even more special. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Iriomote Island!

3.00If you are a bigger snorkeler it’s good, if you are good at swimming and at snorkeling you would feel uncomfortable. That’s because for safety measure you ll be swimming with a safety west, you can’t dive closer to the rife and would have to see everything from few meters above. The snorkeling is done in a big group, so you always keep following the tour guide and don’t have much time to wonder around the rife on your own. The canoe experience on the other hand was fantastic.

5.00I went there alone and thanks to my guide, Kono, it was a wonderful experience. He was also a very good English speaker and was keen for hours to explain the area and his favourite tourist attractions, and he would get his body moving and help when needed. Remember to apply sunscreen all over your body, especially if you are white.
It's a good summer memory.

5.00I joined the tour with my family of seven. The children were able to explain it in an easy-to-understand way and had a great time. When we got in the canoe, the weather was bad for a while, so we went up to the beach to rest. At that time, he explained various things about the unique ecosystem of Iriomote Island, and it was a wonderful response, such as actually catching the creatures and showing them to the children. The snorkelers and children were slow and resourceful when they had a temporary panic, and we enjoyed it at the children's pace.

4.00Good communication, it was easy to take the ferry and meet our guide. He was friendly and spoke enough English for us to understand. The snorkeling was organized and good for beginners (we brought our 6 & 9 year old), but everything we saw out in the ocean was the same as when we snorkel in Okinawa off the beach, I was hoping to see something more unique. The mangrove kayaking portion was relaxing and enjoyable, but not particularly interesting…I was hoping to see a waterfall or paddle under a jungle canopy, but it was a wide, shallow muddy river. Iriomote is beautiful, and we plan to visit again, but perhaps we’ll aim for a private tour for a more unique experience next time!

5.00Snorkeling and mangrove canoeing were great! It was a shame because the tide was high on Barras Island in time, but the snorkeling at the other spot was amazing, seeing table corals and seeing sea turtles!! The mangrove canoe was guided by Seki-san's team to the back of the mangrove forest, and many photos were taken, including posing instruction. lol It was a very fulfilling time for them to talk with us in a friendly manner! He also told me about the charm of Iriomote Island, and I wanted to come back again! Luckily, we were able to see both turtles and crested eagles, which was a very satisfying activity☺︎ If you come to Iriomote again, I would love to join another tour!
