5.00It was amazing day at the beatiful island in the company of Taran and Makoto. They have lived for a few years on Ishigaki island by now, so they know all the places that worth visiting and what is important - can plan the timing for your trip properly depending on your time on the island to make sure you see the most interesting (for you) places. Whether you want to visit the best bakery with tastiest hot dogs and rolls or want to try local donuts or visit pineapple garden and try it, or want to visit the funny sculpture park or cave or meet charming squirrel monkey in the authentic village, they will plan it the best way. Not to mention the viewpoints where you stop to see the beautiful scenery and the pictures that Taran makes are fantastic

5.00Fabulous tour with Taran & Makoto. Super friendly & engaged. Sharing their knowledge about Ishigaki's culture, history, lore & legends. We saw crested serpent eagles, hiked mountains, nearly got blown over at Oganzaki lighthouse for the perfect photo shoot, sampled Sata Andagi and had many hours of fun with them. They even helped us navigating the complex check-out process at a Japanese supermarket. We'll be back for more!

5.00We had a fabulous day with Taran. He showed all the key highlights of the island and we had some great conversations as we got to know him and learn about living in Ishigaki. Taran is also a fabulous photographer and captured our day beautifully. Highly recommend choosing him as your guide.

5.00Makoto met us about cruise ship. We had communicated in advance to plan a tour that we wanted. We explored all of the many beautiful natural areas. We wanted to swim in the china sea and she took us to a beautiful hidden beach. He English is excellent and she really knows the island

5.00Taran is an EXCELLENT guide and will tailor this tour exactly to your wants and needs. I can't believe how many different things we got to see and do in just one tour. Seeing monkeys, tasting different pineapples, visiting secret beaches and the caves, going to several viewpoints, petting goats, seeing the sculpture park, and ending the tour with some delicious gelato. We were staying at a rather remote hotel, and he was also helpful in finding some food to take back with us before heading to the airport. On top of seeing Ishigaki through a more local view, you will get beautiful photos as well. This tour is worth every dollar! Taran is a wonderful human and you will absolutely love spending the day with him.

5.00We had a wonderful time with Makoto on our tour! I’d recommend this tour to everyone. She tailored it to our interests and we go to see some beautiful and interesting places, shop a little, and enjoy tasty snacks around the island. Best of all, it was like being shown around by a friend. We really enjoyed chatting with her as we traveled to our destinations. I wish we had more time on Ishigaki so we could go snorkeling there too! This was the highlight of our Okinawa trip.

5.00Taran was a very good and accommodating guide. Experienced lots of nice places on Ishigaki and saw a lot of things. He went over and about for our tour and made my birthday extra special! Even managed to take some photographs of us that made very nice memories. Many thanks Taran. Would love to return some day and willbe sure to pass on your details to any friends that come your way. Highly recommend.

5.00Taran and Makoto provided an amazing experience! They are friendly, knowledgeable, and tailor the tour to meet your needs. We went to the limestone cave, Yaima Village, various observation spots around the island, secluded beaches, tried local drinks and snacks, all while they capture stunning photos to document your trip. They provide such an authentic experience, you feel like you’ve seen the real Ishigaki, and you leave with memories to last a lifetime. Doing a tour with them is an absolute must! 10/10.
