There is no better way to enjoy your visit to the island than being in charge of your own time and not being crammed into a vehicle with others and on a driver's timeline or having a guide rushing you. With Island Buggy Excursions, we will give you our suggested sites to visit on either the west end or east end of the island. Or we can customize your excursion based on sites you're interested in. It is then up to you to determine how long you stay at each stop. You'll enjoy driving one of the coolest vehicles on the island. Enjoy the fresh air and all of the beautiful sites. It will be a day you and yours will never forget. Please bring towels if you plan on dipping in one or more than one of the beautiful beaches.

Upon leaving Havensight, drive along down town Charlotte Amalie Harbor to your first stop at Emerald Bay Beach. Enjoy the beautiful crystal clear blue water and soft white sand. Stay as long as you want.
Brewer's Bay
After leaving Emerald Beach, drive through the University Of St. Thomas and park along the road and walk over to Brewers Bay Beach. Swim and look for sea turtles. If you're hungry, stop at one of the food trucks along the road and enjoy some amazing island food.

5.00It was great and easy to coordinate pick up. We loved being on our own schedule and not locked in and could explore the island at our own pace. The buggy's are cool and fit 4 adults including beach chairs and snorkle gear. Highly reccomend to anyone.
The Definitive Way to Experience St. Thomas!

5.00I've gotta say, this might be the best shore excursion we've ever had! As soon as we'd booked, Liston reached out to make sure he had the right contact info. Once at the port, he was clear about where we'd meet up, which was just outside the port, and showed us everything we needed to get going. He then told us he'd be guiding us by text message, which is something I'd never experienced before and wasn't sure what to expect. Let me tell you, this has got to be the definitive way to experience a new place, especially in the Caribbean! Liston gave us spots to head to every time we were ready, and since we were by ourselves, we could do everything at our own pace. Really enjoying the view of some vista he recommended? We can just hang out and shoot him a text when we're ready for the next spot. Water is perfect and we want to swim for another 30 minutes? That's cool, we can just let Liston know when we're ready. We were able to check out most of the great spots around St Thomas thanks to Liston, and had an AMAZING lunch. That was another big pro to this approach to tour guiding. We let him know when we were starting to feel hungry and he made a recommendation based on where we were that was a truly local experience. This was a great way to experience St. Thomas, and I'd recommend this to anyone!

5.00Great experience from the check in process to the communications throughout the excursion . Absolutely the best way to tour the island. We were unfamiliar with where to visit but this was made very easy with the self guided tour provided in the buggy. Interesting how many people along the way were taking pictures of this unique excursion.

5.00Liston and Jordan are beyond amazing!! Both so extremely helpful and personable! You will not regret booking the island buggy for the day! They will take you to wherever you want to go with constant communication of where you’re going and perfect directions or they can give you favorite places to go on the island! The buggies are so nice. Clean, new and comfortable and just a fun way to enjoy a very full day in St. Thomas! Couldn’t recommend them more. One of our most favorite memories of st. Thomas and we’ve been there many times!

5.00We were not able to take the tour due to the lack of availability of buggies. John, the owner of the business called us the night before to explain what had occurred and how upset he was . If I remember correctly, he had to cancel 6 couples because he had ordered new buggies and they were promised delivery over and over again by the vendor. I felt bad for him because he was so upset and tried everything within his power to make it right for us. . . . and he DID. He found us another vendor (Meatball) who took us on a private tour of St. Thomas in his jeep to parts that we would have never found or been able to get into without him being with us personally. It was a wonderful and event filled day. On top of that - it saved us $100. The fact that John took ownership of the problem and didn't just leave us hanging - gets him and his business a 10 star rating in my view. THANK YOU JOHN!

5.00We can't recommend this activity enough! 5 star all the way from booking & communication, to vehicle, to support, we'll never forget it. Liston was our virtual guide and was a wonderful host. You can pick up and drop off at either of the cruise terminals, just let them know. We loved it as it allowed us to visit the many beaches and sites we wanted, on our own time- priceless. We let Liston know our interests and he guided us around the island from stop to stop on our phone. He included chairs and umbrella in the backseat as there was just us two. He took us to some great local places you don't read about, and you can't beat the views and weather in this cute buggy. I think if you have younger ones, they could fit in back seat, but it is really small but we're large at 6' and 5'8 and it accommodated us perfectly. So fun, you won't regret it - worth every penny as it was a splurge for us and our ship was only there until 2p so we saw and experienced a bunch, not rushed, in a short amount of time. Thank you Liston - you were amazing!!

5.00All I can say is if you're coming to st Thomas DO THIS. Did buggy rental in Santorini and this was much better. New buggy and were able to have radio and being able to text with john(owner) directly and be given next place to check out was fantastic, just type in address on GPS on phone and go there rather then trying to figure out where to go. New in business and definitely good start. Jordan was there cleaning the buggy when we got there. Meeting point was walking distance from our port and liston was there to greet us when we got back. We will be back to this beautiful island and I will not even have to bother looking because I know I will be renting from John. Once again if you're coming to St Thomas do yourself a favor and rent a buggy from island buggy rentals and enjoy this beautiful place with points of interest that they tell you where to go. David
