We leave behind the ‘Capital of the Highlands’, for a full-day small-group adventure to the magical Isle of Skye. We drive along the world-famous Loch Ness, home of the elusive monster, and onwards through the mountains towards the west coast. Majestic mountains give way to vast sea lochs, once used by Vikings as an access route to our lands. We stop at the romantic Eilean Donan Castle with time for you to explore inside (optional, pay locally).
After crossing the Skye Bridge, learn about the island’s myths and legends, as well as the true tales of rival clans and a fugitive prince. Enjoy lunch in the main town of Portee and visit the colourful harbor. Explore the Isle of Skye’s stunning coastline, and marvel at the Old Man of Storr, Quiraing, and Kilt Rock. Take in the last of Skye’s otherworldly landscape as we drive through the Highlands back to Inverness.

It is recommended to book transport to the departure point in advance. Please also allow extra time to get to the departure point for check-in. We advise you arrive at least 15 minutes before the tour departure to allow time to check-in for the tour. Unfortunately, we are unable to hold the bus or refund for any late arrivals.
Return times are approximate and subject to road conditions and weather. Please ensure you allocate sufficient time for any onward travel plans, allowing at least 3 hours after the scheduled return time for connections or activities.
Children under 5 years old, including infants who do not require a seat, are not permitted to travel. We are unable to accommodate any child under the age of 5.
Eilean Donan Castle can be subject to closures for private events. If so, additional time will be allocated elsewhere and the castle will be a photo stop.

Due to vehicle availability, there may be instances where this tour runs on a bigger bus.

5.00One of the highlight of my trip to Scotland! Emily, our wonderful guide was amazing, she made it really fun with all her stories of tales and folklores. I can't recommend this outing more, just go for it!! Bonus for us, the weather was stunning, but it can't be guaranteed, even Emily doesn't have that power (or does she?)
10/10 made magical with Emily’s fun, adorable and expert guidance with 10/10 views the whole way!

5.00Emily is a sweetheart and hilarious. I quite enjoyed her stories and the music playlist she put together. She’s an extremely competent driver, more so than any other day tour I’ve taken. She’s took us to other places not on the itinerary since Eilean Donan Castle was closed. She made the most of the time and showed even a seasoned traveler some places I’d never heard of before. That made the trip extra special. If I could guarantee her as a driver again, I would continue to tour with this company just to have the pleasure of her being the guide again! 10/10!

5.00Our tour guide, Emily was exceptional. Her passion for the work shows in everything she does—from how deeply she knows the material to how genuinely she connects with people. She clearly enjoys what she does, and that energy carries through the entire experience. What stood out most was how well she treated everyone in the group: attentive, respectful, and always making sure people felt included and cared for. She naturally took ownership of the experience, handled questions with confidence, and kept everything running smoothly. She has the presence, professionalism, and leadership mindset you want in management. If she brings this same level of commitment and people-first approach to a leadership role, she will elevate the entire team.

5.00This was a fantastic, fun, interesting and beautiful day out. Emily was your guide and she entertained us with historical facts and some wonderful tales. Every stop was interesting and incredibly beautiful- we were blessed with beautiful sunshine!! I fully recommend this tour and guide. Oh… and the photos don’t do it justice.

5.00A fascinating journey to get into and get lost in the Scottish Hilands. Visiting emblematic and wonderful places of this place. Our guide Donnie was super friendly and told us many curiosities and anecdotes from many places.
