This is a lovely day long private tour taking you from Inverness to the Isle of Skye and visiting quite a number of the main attractions and on the way there we stop at Eilean Donan Castle.
What makes this tour unique is that the customer can decide to change things if they wish by deleting any stops and adding other stops in ( within reason ).

Eilean Donan Castle is strategically placed where 3 sea lochs meet and is one of the most photographed castles in the world and one of the most visited attractions in the Highlands. We stop here for a photo opportunity and rest room break for 30 minutes.
Skye Bridge
We cross over the Skye Bridge where on a clear day you get a magnificient view of the Cuillin mountains.

5.00My sister and I had a private tour with Billy to see the Isle of Skye and had the absolute best time! He was so friendly, knowledgeable, reliable, and made our trip so worthwhile. Not only did he go above and beyond to accommodate our tour, he also offered additional taxi services the following day to help us and our Nonna get around Inverness. This was such a highlight of our trip! I highly recommend booking with him. Thanks Billy for giving us a wonderful experience that we will never forget!

5.00Billy was an absolutely fantastic guide of Skye. He was very knowledgeable about the history and the clans, and had a sense of humor that was just so fun. He was willing to fit in as much as we possibly could into our itinerary without any issue. We felt so comfortable the whole time. We saw everything we wanted to and he was always right there waiting with a warm car. He took lots of pictures for us and they turned out great! He even dipped his face in Sligachan with us! We had such a lovely day with him and we’d do it again in a heartbeat!

5.00We highly recommend Higlander Private Tours. We had a full day in September last year with Lawrence MacLean, where he guided us through the west of Scotland in the best possible way and where we also visited the Isle of Skye. We got a lot of information about Scotland, both historical and contemporary, as well as a lot of knowledge about the local conditions. It was a lovely day in the west of Scotland.

5.00We took a house overlooking Loch Ness for a special family weekend. Billy arranged a wonderful tour to the Isle of Skye. He kept us entertained all day with his knowledge of Scottish history and nothing was too much trouble. On the day we left Inverness he took us to the Singleton Glen of Ord whisky distillery and arranged lunch all before getting us to the airport in perfect time. Billy smiled for the entire trip, fully engaged with the whole family and made sure we had a great time. Top man!

5.00Lawrence took us on a multi day tour of the Highlands, the Isle of Skye and Speyside. He worked with us to create a great tour combining natural beauty, history and….. scotch!! An expert driver and a gentleman who proudly shared his vast knowledge of his country.

5.00We had an extraordinary 4 day tour with Highlander Private tours. The entire trip, which started in Edinburgh, took us through Inverness, the Isle of Skye and back, exceeded our expectations. Our guide. Billy, a born and raised Highlander, regaled us with Scottish History, Clan lore, music and an occasional sip of whiskey. His guidance ensured we saw multiple jewels of this magical country. He was a joy to be with, and was very flexible with any of our requests. This included an unplanned stop at Leault Farm in Kincraig, to watch a sheepdog demonstration that blew us away. Best trip ever!!! This company has it all!

5.00My husband and I had a fantastic trip to Scotland thanks to Lawrence! We took in amazing sights and have the pictures to prove it since Lawrence was quick to take them for us. I especially loved learning about Lawrence and his experience growing up and living in Scotland. I highly recommend him and his business!

5.00This was incredible! We have used Lawrence two summers in a row now. Not only is he entertaining and hilarious, but he also matches the energy of the group and truly is there to serve your needs. He knows all the local spots while avoiding the crowds. Amazing food too. He is so knowledgeable and allows you to create your dream experience. Could not recommend it enough!
