Issyk (“a door” from the Kazakh language) and its like a door to the Issyk gorge. A picturesque alpine lake surrounded by unusually beautiful nature with thick forests and spacious fields of flowers.
The lake is located at an altitude of 1760 meters above sea level, in the Issyk gorge of Trans-Ili Alatau, about 70 km east of Almaty.
09:00 – Departure from Almaty to Issyk town
10:00- Issyk town. Museum of a Golden man (we can visit on request)
10:30-11:30 - Hicking and relaxing near lake
11:30-12:30- trip to Amaty
Possible to extend with visiting Tourgen waterfall

Upon arriving the mountains lake we will find a comfrotable place at the river side to enjoy the surrounded nature, taking photographs. You are welcome to bring some snacks with you. We can organise a picnic on your request. Or stop at a cafe along the way. 5.00Our stay in Kazakhstan lasted 8 days from 11 to 18 August. All our excursions in the form of individual tours were organized and conducted by super professional Gulzat. Knows all about his country, history, traditions, the most picturesque natural places. Together with Gulzat, we plunged into the unearthly beauty of lakes, mountains, learned a lot about the ethnic traditions of the people of the country, tasted local dishes, participated in master classes.We got an unforgettable experience!! Hopefully come back here again. I also want to say a special thank you to our driver Beric, who complemented our trip with a sparkling sense of humor and a sensitivity to tourists!

5.00I am really satisfied with the service. On the day of the trip the lady manager came to my hotel to make sure everything was ok and then introduced me to the guide and driver. I quickly became friends with Dias. He is a very knowledgeable guy. He always makes sure that I was ok and satisfied. We had a full day tour together.

5.00I was in contact with Gulzat to choose some day trips outside of Astana with my toddler son. She recommended going fishing. The amazing driver arrived picked us up on time and drove us to the destination. We had an enjoyable couple of hours and my son loved fishing for his first time. We did a 2nd outing with Kazia tour and had another great time and she even met us in the morning at pick up time. Gulzat was responsive and friendly and would absolutely use her company again next time we visit.

5.00Best part about our trip was our guide - Yelnar. It’s commendable to see how such a young kid is such a good tourist guide. He explained us everything that was required. I realize post this trip how important a tour guide is especially in a place where local language skills along with English is really important. To add the place was beautiful and heavenly.
