It was great to be able to taste a variety of different Turkish foods and dishes. Wish it wasn’t raining so much, but we still had a good time. Our tour guide was very kind and friendly. The cruise was a bit of a waste since it was raining and we couldn’t see all the historical buildings from the boat and the windows had rain drops on them. Crowd size was good, not too large. Length of visit at each spot was fine.

There was so much variety. The bread, cheese, meats, egg dishes, coffees and teas were just the beginning. Street vendors, small shops, a boat ride were all part of the experience. Mussels, pickled veggies, lentil soup, Turkish pizza, kebobs, baklava, ice cream. You will not go hungry. Our guide was Tunc. He was fun, informative, and handsome. :)

I had such a great time on this guided food tour with Selen. She did an amazing job explaining the history behind each dish and how it all came together, which made the experience feel a lot more meaningful. One of my favorite stops was going to Kebapçı İskender. The moment they poured that generous amount of butter over the meal was unforgettable. I also loved how she explained the meaning behind each layer, describing it as layers of Turkey, where every bite you take reveals something new. We got to try a wide variety of foods, and ending with dessert was the perfect touch. Selen was super friendly and made the whole experience feel welcoming. Overall, it was an amazing experience and I'd definitely do it again.

Great food tour - loved all the choices in restaurants and getting to see more of the city by walking around. Our tour guide, Alli, was great - very knowledgeable and even helped us make accommodations for dietary restrictions.

We had such a great experience on the Yummy Food Tour in Istanbul! Ayce was incredibly knowledgeable and took us to truly authentic spots we would never have found on our own. I especially loved how the tour blended local food with bits of history along the way—it felt like a real introduction to the city. What made it stand out even more was how unfiltered and genuine it was—nothing felt overly polished or touristy, which made it all the more memorable. It was pouring with rain the whole time, but honestly, I am so glad we went ahead anyway. It turned out to be a fantastic way to get our bearings and kick off our time in Istanbul. Highly recommend!
