It is not easy to find a good Vegan or Vegetarian restaurant to eat in Istanbul. That is why, we, I want to invite you to our home to cook, eat and experience Vegan culture in Istanbul with us as well as the famous Turkish Hospitality.

Although any Vegan class in Istanbul is unique, cooking with me at a home athmosphere will let you experience the city and the culture in a different perspective.

Visit us at our home, cook and eat with us, just like family and friends.

To ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience, we ask that all guests review our participation waiver. By completing your booking, you acknowledge that you’ve read and accepted the terms of the waiver below. We’ve kept it straightforward and easy to understand, so you can focus on what really matters—getting ready for a special time with us! LokalBond Experiences Waiver and Release of Liability 1. Acknowledgment of Risks: I, acknowledge that participating in this experience offered by LokalBond involves certain inherent risks, including but not limited to physical activity, travel, potential hazards, and interaction with individuals and environments that may carry unknown risks. I understand that these risks may result in personal injury, illness, or damage to personal property. 2. Voluntary Participation: I affirm that my participation in this experience is entirely voluntary and that I have been informed about the nature of the experience. I understand that I am under no obligation to participate and that I may withdraw from the experience at any time without penalty. 3. Health and Fitness: I certify that I am in good health and physical condition to participate in this experience. I do not have any medical conditions, disabilities, or other concerns that would limit my ability to safely participate. I agree to inform LokalBond of any changes in my health status prior to the experience. 4. Assumption of Risk: I hereby assume all risks associated with my participation in the experience, including but not limited to those mentioned above. I acknowledge that LokalBond and its representatives have made no warranties regarding the safety of the experience or the environments involved. 5. Release of Liability: In consideration of being allowed to participate in the experience, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless LokalBond, its owners, employees, agents, hosts, and other participants from any and all claims, actions, damages, or liabilities arising out of or related to my participation in the experience, including, but not limited to, any claims of negligence on the part of LokalBond or its representatives. 6. Indemnification: I agree to indemnify and hold harmless LokalBond from any and all claims, actions, or damages, including attorney fees, arising out of or related to my participation in the experience, whether caused by the negligence of LokalBond or otherwise. 7. Governing Law: This waiver and release shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Turkish law, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. 8. Acknowledgment of Understanding: I have read this waiver and release of liability, fully understand its terms, and approve it freely and voluntarily without any inducement. I understand that by confirming this document, I am giving up certain legal rights, including the right to sue LokalBond or its representatives.

Considering the lack of vegan/vegeterian options to eat outside in Turkey, I have used our creativity on converting even other Turkish Cuisine dishes to Vegan Dishes as much as we could, through cooking at home for long years. Although, Kısır, Vegan Kokoreç, Vegan Dolma, Vegan Dürüm, Mücver are some of my personal favorites, I have recreated many Turkish cuisine dishes. At this experience, you will visit us, to have a Vegan Cooking class in a our cosy home. We will hope to make you feel at home as you come in to our home. After some chats and getting to know each other, we will start cooking as if we are cooking with your friends, family members. I believe getting to know the spices, ingredients that are unique to Turkiye will be interesting for you. Then, the best part starts, we will sit and have a family meal session. After that, we will prepare some teas and we will chill together. You will leave this experience knowing great Turkish cuisine Vegan dishes and a local as your new friend. So, come as a guest, leave as a friend.

This was our first cooking class and it was an amazing experience. Rojda (our host) is a total super woman! We cooked 5+ dishes together - suitable for both beginners and advanced cooks - and felt so welcome and comfortable in Rojda’s home. Thank you for an unforgettable evening.

We have never had a cooking class before and we have to admit it has been an amazing experience which allowed us to connect with local people and local culture. The host was absolutely wonderful, friendly and welcoming. Not only we had the chance to learn Turkish delicious receipts but, most importantly, we felt the soul of Istanbul. We really recommend this experience because it’s something that will last forever and will make a lifetime memory!

We had a fantastic time at Rojda house in Istanbul. The atmosphere was cozy, Rojda was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the dishes we made were both traditional and full of flavor. It was a real Turkish home. I learned so much about vegetarian Turkish cuisine and enjoyed every bite. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cultural and culinary adventure!

We booked a cooking class with Rojda and it was probably the highlight of our trip. She was incredibly friendly, welcoming and prepared a lot of food to cook with us. We made seven different meals and all of them tasted incredible. She also gave the leftovers to us so we didnt have to buy food for the next day. Thank you for inviting us into your home Rojda and letting us stay for the whole evening. We had the best time and enjoyed talking to you and learning about your food and culture.

We LOVED the vegan cooking class. Rojda was a wonderful host, attentive, knowledgeable, and very, very kind. My husband, daughter, and I felt very welcome in her home. This was one of my favorite experiences in Istanbul! The class itself was so informative not only of how to make the recipes but about Turkish culture in general. We loved the opportunity to come into our host’s home and feel like family, as well as connect with other travelers. I cannot recommend this experience enough!

We really enjoyed our vegan Turkish cooking experience with Rojda! She was super accommodating and made us feel very welcome in her home. Chatting while making (and eating) the food was the perfect way to learn more about the culture and history of Türkiye too. By the end of the class we left inspired and full of delicious food!

Burak and friends and family hosted us for a delightful evening of food prep, dining, Kurdish dancing and conversation. Our hosts could not have been kinder or more generous. We left with both our hearts and stomachs full. Wonderful food and truly lovely people.

Those who think that Turkish cuisine consists only of kebab are very wrong. As anyone who comes to this experience can see, many vegan options cooked at home are also possible. It is a wonderful opportunity for anyone who wants to have fun and learn new things by cooking as if they were at home.
