This 4-day (3 nights) tour, by Ivan Bahia Travel Guide, is private and totally organized from Salvador (so we will pick you up in Salvador and bring you back there, locations out of Salvador, max 100km will be charged with a fee).

As this is a multi-day trip with to discover the best off Chapada Diamantina National Park, the Brazilian Grand Canyon.
Your guide/driver (who speaks your language fluently) will be exclusively at your disposal during the whole excursion. What makes this trip unique (besides Ivan Bahia being the only one organizing this formula starting from Salvador) is that your guide is flexible, ponctual and has your well being as a main objective.
We can easily adapt within the given timeframe.

Today will be a 1 day-trekking through a small and savage canyon, starting from Lençois village to the beautiful Sossego Waterfalls, where we will have à picknick We will be walking for about 16km and you need a good physical condition.
Today you may choose out of a day-trip to the Fumaça Waterfalls or a day-trip Canoeing in the Marimbus-Roncador area

Cachoeira da Fumaca
This is your choice number 1 for today We will have a day-trip to the most famous Cachoeira da Fumaça waterfalls with their 380m height (we will check weather and water conditions before making our choice). This is a wonderfull place on the other side of the park near the Valé do Capão (which we will see from above)
Fazenda Marimbus
This is your choice number 2 for today. If you are fun of water let's have a day's canoeing along the Marimbus swamps and have a swim around the beautiful Roncador falls, lunching with locals (where you may serve yourself as much as you want in their kitchen)

5.00My wife and I spent 4 wonderful days in Chapada Diamantina National Park with Ivan, our private tour guide and driver in his comfortable, safe, and agile 4x4 SUV. Along the way, he shared his vast knowledge, many experiences, and clear English explanations with us. He tailored his itinerary to our interests and hiking abilities, where he shared his sincere passion of this unique place with us. We also loved the colorful town of Lençòis where we stayed 3 nights in a charming pousada conveniently located adjacent to the park's trailhead. Due to the long transit time to/from Salvador, we used the remaining 2 full days to enjoy some key park highlights. As such, we recommend a minimum of 4 total days, where even more days would've allowed us to visit more sites. We highly recommend Ivan for this adventure that we could not have accomplished without his expertise and car. Be sure to bring good walking shoes, hat, and sunscreen.
