5.00Nazimi picked us up and we went with him and his driver in a comfortale mini-bus. Very responsible driver! We had a nice chat about Azerbaijan wine making, history and culture on the way to Ivanovka. Nazimi is university educated in tourism, very warm and nice person and personally engaged in the culture and history of his country. We stopped when needed and we also visited an ancient mosque along the way. The country side and mountains are beautiful. In Ivanovka we were met by Andrey, a local bee keeper and vegetable farmer. We had a lovely local lunch made fresh food from his garden and from other local producers of meet and cheese. Very tasty and authentic . We enjoyed the company of by Andrey, his family and Nazimi. Also tried some home made wines and brandy. To think about: this is a tour for people who are really interested in something authentic and getting to know Azerbaijani people and country side. Not for those looking for something fancy and comfortable .You should also be aware that distances are long, so be prepared to spend some hours in a car. I’d be glad to go on other tours with Nazimi!
