"Go SUP Costa Rica provides stand up paddle boarding to clients in Jaco, Puntarenas including Punta Leona, Playa Blanca, and Playa Manta. Owned by Professional SUP athlete Rolando Herrera. Our mission is to provide customers of all levels memorable SUP experiences. Excursions may be customized to encompass not only stand up paddling but other local adventures exclusive to Jaco and Costa Rica including waterfall tours, hikes, monkey and sloth tours, snorkeling, and other beach, water and nature friendly activities."

On our Punta Leona Tour, we will see paradisiacal white sand beaches with beautiful views. Our tour begins in Playa Mantas, which is perfect for developping stand-up paddle skills. We will visit beaches such as, Limoncito; a remote beach in the middle of the jungle. Its main attraction is the La Leona waterfall. Next, we will paddle to Playa Blanca to snorkel and take a break on this wonderful beach. Finally, we will paddle again to Playa Mantas.

After a quick Stand Up Paddle refresher lesson on the beach, we got on our boards and headed on our way. The water was super glassy and super smooth! While paddling we even had our own Paparazzi (Rolondo) 😁📸 He guided us around the peninsula and through the ocean channel that took us to Playa Blanca...a super white sandy beach. We made it to the beach then had a little break with fresh, out of the coconut, coconut water and freshly cut pineapple. We enjoyed our snack in a shady spot surrounded by trees containing lots of wildlife including macaw parrots 🦜 and so many monkeys 🐒! After our break, we went snorkeling where we swam through several schools of fish of all different types, colors, and sizes.🐟 We finished the super sweet and refreshing pineapple, we got back on our boards and headed back to our original beach. It was a great day and we can't wait to do it again. Rolondo is super knowledgeable and his joy for what he does really shows! Pura Vida 🇨🇷

For a chick that doesn’t care for the water, this paddle board and snorkeling excursion was the best! Using his expertise, Rolo guided us through our adventure! I would highly recommend this tour!

I had a wonderful experience doing the stand-up paddle and. Snorkeling tour. Rolando has a lot of knowledge and made me feel safe. Gave me all the instructions for safety and it made my experience even better knowing what to do The beach is beautiful white sand surrounded by nature even saw some monkeys. the water was crystal clear and the snorkeling on the reef was amazing with so much sea life, I saw a variety of fish, turtles and manta-rays. Rolando also had some fruit and water at the end of the tour. It was definitely a great experience!
