Climb aboard a 30-foot hand-crafted bamboo raft for a leisure ride down the Great River. While you listen to the rhythm of the river and hear the whisper of the trees. Immerse yourself in total relaxation and enjoy a limestone foot massage (can upgrade to a full body massage) that will leave your skin silky smooth and rejuvenated by the limestone.
Your tour start from pick up as your driver is also a tour guide who will give you details about Jamaica and its history (please asked once you are interested). Feel free to ask any question as this is apart of the Bamboo Rafting And Limestone Massage Experience

Travelers will have a authentic Jamaican rafting experience. This includes a Lime stone Massage of the feet. There is a additional cost for a full body massage. Guest will also interact with locals, learn about the history of the area. A guided tour down The Great River on a 30-foot bamboo raft. 2 person per raft, Raft weigh Limit is 500lbs both Traveler. Additional raft cost $60usd for travelers, who exceed combine weigh limit per raft. The Great River is one of the main water source for Montego Bay and surrounding Communities. Enjoy a freshly cut Jelly coconut you will be surprise at the taste. There will be local cuisine at local cook shop (hole in the wall) at additional cost (optional). menu normally includes Curried Goat, Pork, Oxtail, Fry, curried or brown stew Chicken. Rafting experience is expected to last 60 - 90 mins. With Groups doing Multiple full body massage time is expected to be longer 90 - 120 Mins All Rafting ends at the starting point except in cases of high river condition. High River condition is where the river level start rising due to rain in other areas. At that point it is not possible to take you back to the starting point due to safety reasons.

1.00Avoid booking this excursion with this group. we scheduled our time slot for 1pm, with a pick up time at our hotel for 12:30pm. The driver arrived to our hotel at 12:36pm and at that time we were told that we had to pick up two other guests at a different resort. We arrived at the resort to pick up the other two guests, and then were told that we were headed to the site. We then proceeded to drive around in the van for 2 hours, where we then picked up two additional guests located at another resort and waited another 20 mins for the rain to stop. We finally arrived at the excursion site at 3:00pm (2 hours AFTER our originally scheduled time). It was never communicated to us by the tour operators that we would not arrive for the time we scheduled. To make matters worse, the tour was cut short because the rain caused the river to rise which created a safety issue. If we had arrived at 1:00pm, we could have avoided the bad weather and had the experience we paid for. Instead, everything was rushed and cut short due to the drivers 2 hour delay. The tour operator refused to provide a refund stating that “we were picked up at 12:36pm, arrived at 3:00pm, and was returned to the hotel”, which completely disregards how late their driver was to picking us up and how that impacted the overall experience. We never scheduled to begin at 3:00pm. Book at your own risk.

4.00The website is misleading it says bamboo with limestone so you would assume the massage is included it’s not and u don’t find out until they did the massage already.

5.00We had a fabulous time and enjoyed our amazing guide Del! He also enlightened us with some history along the ride to and from the river, which was so cool! Now, as far the rafting, my goodness - what an experience!!! From start to finish, we had an absolute ball!!! Along the river, we had access (for purchase) to souvenirs, authentic patties, food, drinks and more!! The lime stone rub was so satisfying and a pleasure to receive. I can’t stress this enough, this excursion is a MUST!!! I will be returning in a few months to do it all over again. What an awesome experience!!!! If I can give TEN stars, I would. By far one of the BEST choices made!!!! Book! Book! Book!!!!!
