Dunn's River Falls and Park
On this Dunn's River Falls and snorkeling cruise you will experience an unforgettable day of fun and sun aboard a comfortable catamaran. Your driver will pick you up from the lobby of your resort and bring you to Mahogany Beach where you will enjoy a Jamaican buffet lunch (select options only) before boarding the catamaran. Once on board, we will cruise to the snorkel area. Take a dip in the warm Caribbean sea where you can swim/snorkel and enjoy the underwater picturesque view beneath you. Then back to the catamaran where you can enjoy refreshment as you sail pass Emerald hills, historical sites and numerous waterfalls before docking at the world famous Dunn's River Falls. Expert guides lead your climb up the impressive cascading 600- foot (183 meters) waterfalls. The invigorating jaunt through the scenic tropical rain forest is a primer for the fun awaiting you on the sail home. Greeted back onboard with a smile and an open bar, the DJ pumps up the volume and it's time to party!

5.00The hike is pretty high and might be slippery so bring water shoes and take your time! Guides are amazing from the bus, catamaran and at the park. Bring cash for tips as they are well deserved

5.00This was a great experience from beginning to end. They start you off with a boxed meal prepared hot when you get there. They then take you to the boat where you are given fruit punch and water(rum punch is not given until all water activities are completed but if you find a good staff member, they'll slip it to you). You'll then be taken to snorkel first for about 30-45 min and then to the beach and falls of Dunn River, where you can either climb the falls or relax at the beach. I chose the beach as the falls can be intimidating Once all the water activities are finished, its back to the boat where rum punch is flowing and a small eats is given to you! Then its party time as the boat heads back into Ochos Rios. Cons: Bathrooms are not ideal(but hey most public restrooms in Jamaica are not). Pros: Everything about this boat ride was fantastic!

1.005 years ago this was a luxurious trip with a beautiful catamaran and top quality food and drinks. Now, despite the high cost, the catamaran is old, dirty and uncomfortable. The drinks are just water they call a cocktail and the food a piece of chicken and a slice of bread. No joke! I visit Jamaica every year and will never use Cool Runnings again. What happened?

5.00We booked this as a third-party excursion during our recent cruise. The company was very accommodating and arranged an earlier sailing for our group of 23 to fit our ship’s schedule, which we really appreciated. Transportation was the only hiccup. No one told us ahead of time that the van couldn’t enter the cruise port, so we ended up waiting in the parking lot for over 20 minutes until a helpful official pointed us in the right direction. Our driver was kind, got us there and back safely, and even gave great tips on how to handle local vendors. That said, driving in Jamaica can feel fast and intense — at times a little nerve-wracking — but we always felt he had our safety in mind. Once on the catamaran, the experience was exactly what we hoped for. The crew was friendly, attentive, and made sure everyone had a great time. The scenery, atmosphere, and overall vibe made this the highlight of our day in Jamaica. Bottom line: A memorable and enjoyable excursion with excellent crew and accommodating service — just be prepared for a bit of transportation chaos.

1.00This tour was booked as part of our family reunion, which took place in Ocho Rios. The day meant for the excursion turned into absolute chaos and disappointment. The bus pick up was late, the lunch was late, the catamaran was noisy and crammed with more people than seats. The trip was meant to start at 1 pm yet nearing 3 pm we had still not yet set sail. Company communication about the situation was poor and accountability was even worse. In the end, our group as well as others not in our group simply walked off the boat. In one word: chaos. Do yourself a favour and book with a different company.
