Bond. James Bond. Try repeating this phrase on the set of one of the most renowned James Bond movies — The Man With The Golden Gun — filmed in 1974 and starring Roger Moore. Today, James Bond Island is one of the major attractions at Phang Nga Bay National Park. The beautiful island has remained almost exactly the same as featured in the movie and you will get the chance to walk in James Bond's footsteps and take amazing photos with the famous backdrop. Explore the hidden caves and emerald lagoons by canoe, and step back into the prehistoric world at a landscape formed over many thousands of years. Visit the village of Koh Payee built on stilts hundreds of years ago. Enjoy a sumptuous lunch of typical food from Thailand. Get the chance to interact with the locals with the help of your guide and spot statues, carvings, and monkeys at Wat Suwan Khuha (Monkey Cave) before the end of your tour.

This was a terrible ordeal and will never repeat with your company. I have booked this guided tour that was advertised to start at 09:00 the day before. After making the payment I was told by the tour operator I would be picked up at 07:00. I wanted to cancel but they wouldn’t allow it. For TWO hours we were driven around collecting people and the same on the way back in an old, cramped, dirty, poorly airconditioned minibus! The tour guide was doing his best but the tour operator planned to pick up panters from a wide area as they were greedy!

Excellent day out. Picked up in an air conditioned vehicle from the hotel then taken to board the long boat. The day spent on the boat was a welcome cooling experience in a very hot place. The sea kayaking was relaxing. The views there stunning. James Bond island was a little over-crowded but really lovely too. Lunch was fine and a chance to wander the floating village was also welcome. Overall it gave me a great chance to see this particular part of Thailand

We had the best day! Tanni was our tour guide, she was lovely and very informative. Attentive throughout the day offering to take photos and giving insights around the sites. We went to James Bond island first to avoid the crowds; well thought out plan. We sailed through the mangroves to do sea canoeing which was amazing fun. You have your own guide who canoes and points out interesting sights. We saw a monkey, fish and some mudskippers. Also had to lie down to go into a cave! Lunch at the floating village is buffet style, really delicious food, lots of rice, noodles, veggie options and huge prawns. We passed some 2500 year old cave paintings which was really unexpected. Lastly into the temple - I had bought a towel to cover my shoulders but needed to cover my knees. The attendees offer shawls to people who need to cover up. There were so many monkeys and pigeons, running around everyone and they had lots of food. You can give them some bananas if you like. Throughout the day we were offered cold water many times throughout the day for free, but there were opportunities the buy snacks and other drinks throughout the day as well. I advise to take a hat, something to cover your shoulders with, and shoes you don’t mind getting wet (you disembark the boat onto the shore at James bond island). Take some small notes to tip - the tour guide, driver and canoe guide all worked really hard and we had a fantastic time. Really happy we went.
