  We did two private tours with them. They've been outstanding from the start to the end! Extremely smooth and professional bookings, great organisation. Both tours where amazing and adaptable. Crews and staff where beyond amazing! Looking after us so well. A special shout to Alex that made both our trips memorable.   We had a truly fantastic and super memorable day out visiting the James Bond island (amongst others) with my fiancé and parents. The tour guide, Beer, was amazing, he couldn't have been more helpful (particularly with helping my parents who are in their 70s), and the entire crew were fantastic (going the extra-mile at every opportunity). I would highly recommend 5 Star Marine if you're looking for a private experience with genuinely wonderful hosts. Thank you again for making the day so special, we had a great time and the experience was amazing.

• Amazing excursion while our cruise ship was docked

  We had an absolutely fabulous excursion!!! We were two couples in our 60s and the crew could not have provided a more amazing experience. We were extremely well cared for, and the crew was so mindful of our physical limitations. They offered us great choices and honestly, I can't put into words how wonderful our day with them was. They were delightful to be around. A beautiful fresh fruit platter was elegantly arranged. The office excelled at prompt communications. Our private van pick up from the cruise ship went perfectly and drop off as well. They are extremely mindful of cruise ship departure times. In fact, we saw the tour group from our cruise ship at the pier also using 5 Star Marine, but getting on a boat with 30 other people. Our tour was private and cost less as well! Everyone on the group tour was jealous :)

  5 Star Marine already has so many excellent reviews on TripAdvisor, but I'm happy to add another! From the initial planning stages to my last minute questions in the days leading up to the tour, to the day of the trip, 5 Star Marine provided a great service. It felt like money well-spent, to have the private tour to James Bond island. Many times, when you visit famous destinations, the experience can be a bit of a let down due to crowds, but that was not the case with this experience. This was absolutely the way to go!! James Bond island itself was indeed busy, and the 5 Star crew let us take a look and decide what to do, and we opted to stop at the island, anyways. We were so happy with that decision, and they made it as easy as possible for us to navigate. One note about footwear: it might be smart to wear or bring sandals that you don't mind getting wet, to protect your feet because of the broken shells at James Bond island. We were alerted prior to our trip to expect a bumpy ride for parts of our tour. It was bumpy, but manageable, and we didn't have issues with seasickness. We felt very safe in the hands of the capable crew, who were always looking out for our safety and comfort. For the inflatable canoe portion, it was very much a surprise to us that we didn't have to actually do any paddling! Such a cool experience, and the crew made everything so easy for us, getting in and out of the canoe, etc. I was shocked at how easy everything was to manage. We had waterproof phone holders to use for the canoe portion, which were handy but perhaps not totally necessary. We had some Thai baht cash with us, which was helpful to tip the paddle man. The cooling towels provided during the trip were very much appreciated, as were the drinks and fruit. Also, to our surprise, we found that we had cell coverage for the duration of the tour. Although we didn't need to use the toilet on board the boat, but were thankful to have it close by. The restaurant we stopped at was unique and delicious - so pleased with that! Huge shout out to Spicy, our guide, for being so fun and fabulous and for taking great photos of us!

  We took a 4 hour private boat trip up to James Bond Island. What an amazing area. We were taken to a secluded beach to swim, lunch at a local restaurant, a floating soccer field, a magical hidden mangrove cave. So much to see, and our tour guides were absolutely lovely. Thank you!

  Great tour! We were on one of the new small speed boats which was perfect for the two of us. The crew were amazing especially Tony our guide, the communication from first enquiring to the day of your was outstanding and really appreciated. We avoided crowds everywhere we went which after doing ‘group’ island hopping tours before, was exactly why we decided to give the private tour a go, and so glad we did!

  We had a fantastic experience with 5 Star Marine and couldn’t be happier with our choice. From start to finish, everything was extremely well organized and ran smoothly. The logistics were flawless, the communication was clear, and the whole day felt relaxed and professional. A special mention to Spicy, our lead, and the entire crew – they were kind, attentive, and very professional, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and taken care of throughout the trip. The boats are brand new, very well maintained, and clearly operated to a high standard, which added a lot to the overall feeling of safety and quality. We enjoyed the experience so much that we actually booked a second tour with them during the same vacation – which says it all.
