Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult
This tour is not recommended for young children: The Wildlife Tour is typically geared more towards adults, providing educational commentary along the way. While wildlife sightings are frequent, the experience differs significantly from a zoo visit. Due to the unpredictable nature of wild animals, sightings occur intermittently during the 3-hour tour and vary from day to day. Based on our observations, young children often become restless as there are no scheduled stops on this vehicle-based tour. Therefore, we recommend a minimum age of 5 years. Although not recommended, children and infants under 5 years old are welcome, provided a seat is purchased for them at the child rate (all passengers regardless of age are required to be allocated a seat on the bus). For those bringing infants, we recommend bringing a baby carrier which can be secured with the provided seat belts on our buses.
Jasper National Park is a wild and natural habitat. Wildlife Sightings are frequent but not guaranteed.

Your guide will personally greet you at your Jasper hotel where you will join a small group on board a comfortable minibus. As you meander slowly down the valley, you will gaze out large windows while passing stunning scenic views of the mountains and surrounding wilderness. You will visit seasonal locations, selected daily by your guide allowing you the best chances of seeing wildlife in its natural habitat. The evening is an ideal time for wildlife viewing with animals being most active in the late afternoon to dusk, so be sure to keep an eagle eye for anything that moves. Capture your memories through photographs from either inside the minibus or occasionally by a short walk at the discretion of your guide. Along the way you will discover valuable insights into the challenges of managing and protecting wildlife within the National Park. Your professional local guide will be eager to answer your questions, as they passionately share the magic of Jasper's wild side, bringing the stories of the animals to life. 95% of tours are successful at spotting wildlife. However, while encounters are frequent, everyday is unique. Jasper National Park is a natural environment and wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed. The tour will finish with complimentary drop-off back at your accommodation.

Our guide was awesome. He was born and raised in the Jasper area. He brought so much knowledge and insight to the area that he was able to share with us. He answered all our questions. There is never a guarantee that your going to see wildlife but his keen eye found us new baby elks, bald eagle, coyote and extended our tour with everyone’s agreement a short time and found a pair of grizzly bears up close and personal yet in the safety of the bus. Highly recommend this tour.

Where do I start!!! Our guide Ross was just superb his knowledge, enthusiasm and passion for wildlife was second to none. He went above and beyond on this tour and we had an amazing experience that we will never forget. We saw a black bear who was a little shy to start, elk (lots of) with their calves, a coyote, bald eagle, Osprey and the real highlight at the end was two Grizzly bears who we must have spent 15-20 mins with and close proximity.... Amazing!!! All the information was really good to know and the details of bear 222 and the serial killer was interesting too Thanks!

Jake did an outstanding job, he extended the tour by an hour and made every effort to make sure as much wildlife is shown to everyone. We saw everything.

Good, friendly knowledgeable guide who was able to tell us all about the local wildlife lin the area. He drove us to all the wildlife hotspots around the national park. Unfortunately the weather was not conducive for wildlife viewing due to the rain so we struggled to find much wildlife out bracing the elements. We did see a group of 4 adult elks with 2 calves seeking shelter from the rain in a clearing close to the road. As the rain slowed and eventually eased we were able to find another group of elks coming out of the woods to graze. Overall a good experience thanks to our knowledgeable guide who was able to tell us so much about the area, the wildlife and the ecosystem of the national park. *Note* For anyone wanting a walking/hiking tour this is not it, you will be in an AC mini bus with a guide on a small group tour around the national park. This was found out by one of the other couples on the tour who expressed that they wanted a guided hike and had been booked on the wrong tour. They seemed fine by the end of the tour however they did say it was not clearly advertised.

Amazing experience with Ross on tonight’s tour. We saw a huge variety of wildlife including a brown bear, a coyote, a bald eagle, lots of elk, including large males and lots of new babies! The best was left to last though when we saw 2 grizzly bears. They were right in front of us and walking around for ages! Spectacular, Could listen to Ross all night, with so many stories and information about all the animals and especially the history of the wildfires.

Brilliant trip with Sam. Really informative and interesting commentary and we so enjoyed seeing the grizzly bear and cub. Also great sightings of a bald eagle on its nest, beavers and sheep and goats. Sam was very happy to stay beyond the allotted trip time so don’t have dinner reservations after!

Lovely evening with our knowledgeable and helpful guide Mukund. We enjoyed hearing about all the wildlife, and he was also informative about the devastating wildfires and how they’ve affected the landscape and ecology. The wildlife highlight for us was seeing the grizzly bear and her cub, I loved seeing the cub climbing partway up a tree. Thank you
