It’s a long drive up to them from ubud. Spectacular vast valley of rice fields. Not the steepest Ive seen but it’s a lovely walk amongst them. I wasn’t sure what we were paying for at first when we arrived as most places like that you can just stop on the side of the road to look and take pics, but it was nice to all with several options of well maintained paths. Guides/ drivers take you to the usual average and busy restaurant at the entrance.

Jatiluwih rice terraces are just amazing green as far as you can see and beautiful surroundings. We downloaded the self guided audio tour and set off along the path. The tour by Voicemap App had gps so you just follow along and the narration comes on automatically. We walked at our own pace stopped for a cool drink and then set off again. This audio tour is fabulous you hear the stories of rice in bali the villagers history and how the rice is grown. We certainly have a new appreciation for rice. Tour is very informative and interesting. We totally recommend - this tour knows more than many guides!
