We also have wollen blankets on-board and all our carriages are covered to keep all passengers warm&dry on those cooler/wet days.

4.00Damien our driver was so personable and shared his knowledge of the surrounding area. I gave my review 4 stars because I thought we would see more of the park but we throughly enjoyed the Muckross Abbey

5.00Damien was our driver and was an absolute delight. Molly was a beautiful horse and the carriage kept us dry. We went into the National Park and visited the Muckross Abbey. Highly recommend McCarthy’s Carriage Rides!!

5.00This was an excellent experience and tour! I would highly recommend. My husband and I took that tour with our couple friends and their two year old daughter and everyone from the youngest to the oldest enjoyed it beyond words! It was informative and our driver was knowledgeable and hilarious.

5.00We had a great time riding in the jaunting car. Our driver was so nice and even volunteered to take a few pictures of us with our camera. He was also very knowledgeable about Ireland and answered all our questions. We stopped and could get out and look around as well and it didn’t feel rushed. It was so beautiful and the route was perfect. We’d definitely do this again if we were there.

5.00The ride is so peaceful and beautiful. Damian was very personable and his historic as well as local knowledge superb. For me just standing in the presence of the tree of life was a magical dream come true. Just cannot say enough about this wonderful experence.
