The routes we take via horse&carriage "Jaunting car" aren't accessible by car and boast some of the most spectacular scenery in the region.

We also have wollen blankets on-board and all our carriages are covered to keep all passengers warm&dry on those cooler/wet days.

5.00The location was easy to access by car and there was plenty of parking in the off season. We were promptly greeted by Martin and we quickly got underway. Martin’s kindness, humor, and deep knowledge of the area brought the entire journey to life. He shared stories, history, and local insights that you simply wouldn’t get anywhere else. His passion for Killarney and its heritage shines through in every moment. And the scenery? Absolutely breathtaking. Traveling through Killarney National Park by carriage felt like stepping into a postcard lush greenery, peaceful lakes, majestic mountains, and ancient ruins including Muckross Abbey. It was the perfect way to slow down, take in the beauty, and truly appreciate the magic of this incredible place. If you are visiting Killarney, don’t miss this experienc. 5.00We had a blast with Damien on our jaunty car ride in Killarney! He’s got that perfect mix of Irish humor and local knowledge that makes the ride so much more than just sightseeing. The scenery was stunning, but Damien’s storytelling made it come alive. Highly recommend booking a ride with him — it’s an hour you’ll remember long after you’ve left Ireland!

5.00McCarthy’s Jaunting ride was a highlight of our two week vacation in Ireland. Beautiful fall colors surrounding us while our wonderful, engaging and fun driver enhanced the fun! The driver is one of the family owner’s of this company. His concern about our horse was so wonderful!

5.00We had a fantastic experience on our Jaunting Car Tour through Killarney National Park! Martin was incredibly accommodating, he contacted us the night before to confirm details and kindly let us change our tour time. He even went the extra mile by sending map links to make meeting up easy and followed up afterwards to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. Our guide, Daniel, was wonderful, so friendly and knowledgeable about the park’s history, wildlife, and landmarks. The scenery was absolutely beautiful. If I could give 10 stars, I absolutely would! Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Killarney.

5.00This was amazing experience and he was so helpful and kind and great with our grandkids. Even went above and beyond when he found out later in the same day we had a flat and an issue and called to check on us. Such great information . Can’t say enough about highly recommend.
