The routes we take via horse&carriage "Jaunting car" aren't accessible by car and boast some of the most spectacular scenery in the region.

We also have wollen blankets on-board and all our carriages are covered to keep all passengers warm&dry on those cooler/wet days.

5.00Definitely recommend this for anyone taking a trip to Killarney! Damien is a wonderful guide, with lots of knowledge on the park and area. We loved visiting the Abbey, and got some great pictures. The trip is the perfect length, we recommend doing the 4:30 tour and grabbing dinner at Tango Street Food down the way after.

5.00The ride was excellent and the family was very accommodating. The father drove the cart, while the son prepared the horses. Everyone was exceptionally friendly. The ride itself was great, and the driver told many interesting stories. The Abbey we visited was great to explore as well. We had five adults and three children (ages 6, 9 and 11) and we all had a great time. The children were allowed to ride up front and even help to steer the reins a bit. Would absolutely recommend.

5.00Damien was a fantastic guide. He was so knowledgable about the history and stories he told during our jaunting car ride. He also captured phenomenal pictures of my girlfriend and I during the tour. Mostly importantly you could tell how passionate he was about what he does and how much he cares for and loves his horse Molly. I would highly recommend a jaunting car ride with Damien - it's a very relaxing one hour experience (so not a large time commitment) and you see and learn so much about the Killarney area and its history.

5.00I highly recommend the McCarthy Jaunting Car tour. Damien McCarthy was our tour guide and did a fabulous job of showing us around the Killarney National park and explaining the local history and sites. He was hilarious and a knowledgeable guide and won't disappoint. Molly was a delightful horse as well.

5.00This was a fantastic time. We learned a ton and were entertained the whole ride. Damian is funny, quick witted and charming. The Tree of Life was amazing. Love that the company is family owned. Highly recommend taking this tour.

5.00The tour was lovely and educational. The guide was exceptional, especially his carriage mate, Molly, the horse pulling our buggy, through the Killarney Nat’l Park. Would highly recommend this company!
