5.00Jay treated us to a lovely drive to what remains of Muckross House and we enjoyed exploring the building and grounds. His passion for his horses and the local history was evident in our time together.

5.00This was a fantastic tour with Damien & Daisy! We arrived a little early and were entertained by Damien’s father, who told us about some Irish history, gave us some tips on local hot spots and played us a few tunes on his accordion! We headed off through the National Park, which is gorgeous. Damien is very knowledgeable about local history and knew all the best photo spots. The stop at Muckross Abbey is a great addition to the tour. Thank you McCarthys, we had a great time!

5.00Amazing Jaunting Car tour to Muckross Abbey! The ride was beautiful and the horses are so well taken care of. Because of flight delays, we couldn’t make our original time. They were so great working with us and finding a new time! We’d love to come back and take another tour!

5.00We had a wonderful experience! Our guide Damien and beautiful horse Molly took us to Muckross Abbey, with plenty of views of the mountains and lakes along the way. Explored the Abbey, which is magical. A very fun experience and learned so much about the history in the area. Definitely recommend!

5.00We had a simply wonderful experience with Damien, our jaunty driver. He was a handsome young man with excellent personality making our ride exceptional in every way. Damien took great care in his horsemanship and demonstrated a genuine love for his work, Ireland and his horses. He was very knowledgeable and engaged in exceptional conversation, cultural elements and history of the beautiful Killarney National Park. His horses today was Duke, an exceptional specimen at a full 18 hands high. Damien and Duke were outstanding ambassadors and we loved the tour very much. We highly recommend this tour and our driver!!!

5.00Damien was fantastic. Funny, knowledgeable, kind, obviously loves his horses. We had a lovely chat and he even let me drive Molly! Molly also appreciated the apples I brought!

5.00Damien and Molly, the horse power, gave us a great, relaxed tour within Killarney Nat’l Park! Damien provided historical accounts along the route and pointed out various native plants and animals. Meeting spot was easily located and we stayed warm with wool blankets. We stopped for pics among the beautiful scenery too! Great tour!

4.00Damien our driver was so personable and shared his knowledge of the surrounding area. I gave my review 4 stars because I thought we would see more of the park but we throughly enjoyed the Muckross Abbey

5.00Damien was our driver and was an absolute delight. Molly was a beautiful horse and the carriage kept us dry. We went into the National Park and visited the Muckross Abbey. Highly recommend McCarthy’s Carriage Rides!!
