When departing from Jeju city , Go to the Hamdeok Beach, Manjanggul Cave and Seongsan Ilchulbong and Seongeup Folk Village and dongmun market

Manjanggul Cave, a World Natural Heritage site, will be closed for safety inspection and internal construction as follows. Suspension of operation 2023.12.29. ~ 2025.08.31. so, replaced by another place.

Oedolgae
When departing from Seogwipo-si 외돌개 (Oedolgae) Oedolgae, the starting point of Jeju Olle Trail Course 7, is a stone pillar that rises 20m high from the sea. Standing alone on the sea, it was named ‘Oedolgae’. It is also called ‘General Stone’ and ‘Grandma Rock’, and there is a story that General Choi Yeong decorated this rock like a general when fighting against the Yuan Dynasty and made the enemy self-destruct. For the origin of the name 'Grandma Rock', read the legend below. Not only the visible rocks, but also the life of Jeju people waiting for the people of the sea can be seen. These stone pillars are believed to have been created during a volcanic eruption. A chimney-shaped stone pillar in which the surrounding rocks are eroded by waves and only such strong rocks remain is called a sea stack in scientific terms. Pine trees grow naturally on the top of Oedolgae, giving a picturesque impression.
Jeongbang Waterfall
When departing from Seogwipo-si 정방폭포 (Jeongbang Falls) Jeongbang Falls is one of the Jejudo Island’s top 3 falls, along with Cheonjiyeon Falls and Cheonjeyeon Falls. It is the only fall in Korea where water falls directly into the sea. The fall is 23m high and the two streams of waterfall that fall down the black cliff create a thrilling sound and a wonderful view. Moreover, the steep cliffs and old pine trees around the fall create a picturesque view, and this view was chosen as one of Ten Scenic Sights of Yeongju with the name of “Jeongbanghapok.” It is said that the words ‘Seobulgwacha’ are engraved on the cliffs of Jeongbang Falls.According to legends, a man named Seobul came to the island in search of an elixir plant on the orders of China’s Qin Shu Huangdi a long time ago. Unable to find the elixir plant, he headed west to return to China, and became captivated by the site of Jeongbang Falls, leading to him writing “Seobulgwacha’ on the cliff.

5.00Mr.Lee was a stand out tour guide. He started off the day getting us water bottles -very thoughtful lad! He is incredibly patient (my family is slow and chaotic). Took the time to ask what we wanted to see. He even picked us up and dropped us off at the front of each location. It felt like a VIP experience. Talking to him he had many stories of Jeju and was very sweet. We love him and you will too!

5.00Driver/Guide Kang was on time for pick up at Seogwipo. The whole journey was fuss-free and relaxing. He brought us to an affordable and delicious lunch spot. He also took decent photos as well. Overall, recommended!

5.00Our driver, Mr Hyun-woo Lee, went above and beyond to give us a memorable experience. First, we requested a change of pick up time to be earlier (7:30am). The manager Mr Hong-min Lee agreed promptly. Next, Mr Hyun-woo Lee (whose English is not bad by the way), took us to our planned attractions, plus a few other extra scenic locations (Cape Seopjikoji etc) not in the itinerary. He then took us to Seongeup Folk Village for lunch, again not in the itinerary. Mr Lee even demonstrated to us on how to cook the pork on the grill. We thoroughly enjoyed those extra activities. Thank you, Mr Lee.

5.00From the pick-up to the end of the tour, everything was perfect. A courteous driver, Mr Jeong (Namyang Travel), who looked after us very well. Thank you, we'd be happy to do it again. It's unfortunate that the cave was closed for safety reasons, but it's beyond Namyang Travel's control. Mr Jeong, however, had a nice alternative. In any case, we were made aware of this at the start of the tour and we felt that was fair.

5.00Mr Kim drove us around to all the major spots. He made sure we got the best photos and took us to a great restaurant for lunch. You will be quite self sufficient, so do not expect a tour guide experience, but you get all the important info from an audio recording on the way. Mr Kim pointed out all the important things anyway! Make sure to try the jeju oranges at the volcano site.
