5.00Fantastic trip with great knowledge from Ben the driver about local fauna and flora. Highly recommend if you aren't into the thrills of jet boating as this jet boat is more about the journey. Suggest good waterproof clothing as it can get a few splashes.

5.00The Wanaka Jetboat ride and Wilderness walk was an exceptional way to experience the vast and pristine space that is the Mount Aspiring National Park and the Matukituki River. Our guide and boat driver, Ben, shared his passion for the river, mountains, fauna and flora of such a remarkable location. Fronting the business end of things, Sue managed our booking on the day so we did not miss out on our adventure. When other tour companies would have transferred our booking to another day, Sue, Ben and the team made it possible for us, the only two people booked on the tour, to experience the magic of this amazing location. We recommend Wanaka River Journeys absolutely. What an amazing experience!

5.00We had a great afternoon, Sue, our driver was punctual, and explained the afternoon ahead in great detail. Once we arrived at the river, Ben, our boat driver, explained the time on the water and issued our life jackets, making sure they were the correct size. The jet experience was fantastic, especially the 360 deg spins. Ben had the occasional pit stops pointing interesting facts, like filming location of LOTR. The nature walk was interesting and a good stretch of the legs before returning. Great day out.

5.00This tour was fabulous. Ben our tour guide and boat driver was super, gave us all lots of thrills with his boat driving expertise but also was very knowledgeable about Wanaka, the surrounding countryside and mountains/glaciers. We had wonderful weather and would recommend this tour to anyone.
