During this tour, we will explore the Jewish heritage and traditions in Barcelona and add in some important facts about the city. We will see the house of the Rashba and visit a synagogue considered to be one of the oldest in the world. We'll see the City Hall, a Roman temple, and find Hebrew inscriptions in some surprising places. Many hidden spots we will see are only known by the locals. We'll even visit the old Mikve. It will be a fascinating trip back in time, in one of the best preserved districts of Barcelona—the old Jewish quarter

5.00This tour was by far our favorite. Adi combined very interesting history and facts that we would have never known on our own. Our 12 and 16 year old kids were riveted and engaged the whole time. It really put Jewish history and world history together to create a comprehensive understanding of Jewish experience in Spain. You will not be disappointed! Boo

5.00This tour was excellent. It gave a historical perspective of not only Jewish history, but Barcelona history as well. We were exposed to Roman ruins and Mikvahs hidden in stores that we would not have found on our own. Adi, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining.

5.00Adi was incredibly knowledgeable about the Jewish history and overall history of Spain. He gave just the right amount of commentary without it being too tiring. My 20 year old son who loves history really enjoyed the tour too! We highly recommend the tour to learn the important history and impact of the Jews in Spain. Thank you Adi!

In just over two hours, I felt transported through centuries — from the time of the oldest surviving house in Barcelona, built by a Jewish family, to the echoes of a community that shaped the city long before the Inquisition. Having recently moved to Barcelona myself, this tour completely transformed the way I see the city. On’s passion, insight, and storytelling are remarkable. I could have spent the entire day listening to him.
