Jimmy has worked in the Marlborough wine industry for 20 years in a variety of roles including work in viticulture,cellar, sales and as a wine tutor. He loves the region and has a strong knowledge of all aspects of the business. Through industry contacts he is able to help you look behind the label and discover the delights of this beautiful wine region.

5.00An excellent tour hosted by Jim doing tasting at 4 premium Wineries and lunch at another. Jim is very knowledgeable and had great connections at all the wineries which allowed a great conversation. Even when I had pretty basic questions. Great wine and I learnt a lot - awesome host and experience. Highly recommended !

5.00Very pleasant tour with a knowledgeable guide . We had a delightful day out with Jimmy. Very convenient just to be the two of us, so we can enjoy the wineries in our own pace. Lunch was delicious at a wine yard (at your own expense).

4.00A well organised tour. Door to door. Jimmy was very knowledgeable and easy company. The trip offered a good selection of wine tastings and a lovely spot was chosen for lunch. Overall a very good trip.

5.00We highly recommend this private tour with Jimmy, we had a wonderful experience. Jimmy used his local knowledge to take us to some diverse wineries. Jimmy was informative, fun and down to earth - making us both feel like old friends. Would definitely book again if we ever returned.

5.00Jimmy was amazing!! Very knowledgeable and we really enjoyed the company and the tour. Great local wineries that were all very friendly and accommodating to our preferences. He also stopped at Makana so we could get some of the world famous chocolates. We highly recommend this tour.

5.00Wow - what can I say, Jimmy was so engaging, knowledgeable and just a joy to be around! Being in the wine industry, I struggle to find a wine tour that finds just the right balance between knowledge of the wine region and just being pleasant and fun. Jimmy covers it all! His selection of wineries, based on our tastes, was excellent (You know which was our favorite Jimmy!). What a lovely afternoon we spent together - hope to do it again in the future! Thank you Jimmy for a memorable afternoon!

5.00Fantastic tour with a fantastic driver - Jimmy went above and beyond for us and we had a fantastic day. Great wines and a very knowledgeable guide for the region. Pricing was also fantastic compared to competitors so if you're looking for a good value private tour - don't look past Jimmy!

5.00My husband and I had a fantastic day with Jimmy. We were staying in Picton and he very graciously came here to get us! He was a great host, telling us about the area and the wine history of Marlborough. As mentioned in other reviews, everyone at the wineries knew Jimmy, so it felt like we were getting a personal touch. I think our favorite winery was Clos Henri-we lucked out with timing and were the only ones there during our tasting, the wines were delicious, and the setting just so picturesque. We had lunch at Wairau River's number 11 restaurant which was fantastic, with beautiful views. We bought at least one bottle from each winery. Highly recommended, spend the bit of extra cash and ditch the group vans and bikes :)

5.00We had the most amazing day on Jimmy’s tour. Couldn’t recommend more highly. Jimmy was very knowledgeable and we went to some amazing wineries not to mention lunch at one of the best restaurants we have ever been to. Thoroughly recommend doing this tour.
