5.00Chouly is a wonderful guide, we were instant friends. On a hot day we spent just enough time at the waterfalls and sightings of Taiwan Blue Magpies. We painted and launched lanterns at Shifen, good times. We were flexible and went with Chouly's recommendation to the happiest little cat cafe in Jiufen. Kittens and layer cake is a great time. Chouly knows a great tea house behind a tunnel in the wall; filled with good food and antique artwork.

5.00While you can get to jiufen, Shifen by public transport it’s not that readily accessible. Taking a car was much easier and made getting between point smooth. Plus our tour guide was knowledgeable. My husband is disabled and our tour guide was able to accommodate him, dropping us off at the entrance and picking us up so we didn’t have to walk as far

5.00This private tour was a great way for us to wrap up our trip to Taiwan. Starting with the pre-tour communication, the company did a good job of giving us the driver, vehicle information and times of tour at the beginning. Our driver and guide Sean was friendly and we got to take the tour at our own pace. The sights were amazing and I appreciate the tips and history with the sights. I found the lantern launch in Shifen to be very touching and that little village was very quaint. I was able to feed some cats at Houtong and enjoyed all of the places and views on this tour! Would definitely recommend!
Quick visit to Taipei.
