5.00My first time climbing with Hot Rock was in 2001 and now back with the family for the third time. They are not just world class climbers but wonderful and amazing people. The whole family had a lot of fun while advancing our climbing skills. Despite being a slightly fear of heights Po, Phon and the team made us feel safe at all times. Only 2-4 people per instructor which was perfect. Can recommend Hot Rock to anyone looking for a great experience!

5.00I am a experienced indoor climber and wanted to take the opportunity to do some outdoor climbing whilst in Krabi in August 2023. I was wary of joining a ‘climbing tour’ as didn’t want to be stuck with general tourists who had not climbed before. Prior to booking, Saralisa was very helpful at explaining options available, from half-day sessions to private coaching. I concluded a half-day session in a small group of 2-3 would be a suitable starting point and booked in advance. I was staying in Ao Nang and hadn’t appreciated the intermittent longtail boat service to get to Railay beach, the meeting point for Hot Rocks. The session was due to start at 9am, but it was 10:30 before I arrived at Hot Rocks. Thankfully the guide was still waiting for me, understood the travel difficulties, and extended my session into the afternoon so I still received a half-day / 4 hours of climbing. Instructor spoke good English, organised our equipment hire and took time to understand out climbing level before we headed out. The climbing was really good, started off with a couple of simple routes before moving onto more challenging routes to suit my level. I enjoyed the session so much I decided to book again for a couple of days later, where I was paired with another climber of similar experience to me, so along with our instructor, we hit some really challenging but good walls. As an experienced indoor climber looking for outdoor experience, I would thoroughly recommend Hot Rocks

5.00Superb morning of climbing on Phra Nang beach, just magnificent. We did several routes of increasing difficulty, with our particularly attentive guide. The equipment is great and the safety conditions are well respected. Very zen atmosphere, thank you for this beautiful morning, climbing in such a beautiful place is a privilege! Long live Railay and thank you Hot Rock.

5.00I've been climbing for four years, but only in the gym. She went to the rocks the second time. Took an individual tour for a few hours. The rocks were their own, the rest of the school. Everything is in good condition. Thanks to Niw for having a wonderful time! At first, I had my husband with me as an interpreter, because I don't know very much English. Then he left, we generally understood each other very much. In two hours, I walked six tracks. One of them is a 30m log. My training was enough to cover two or three more tracks. But the heat wave tormented me. Thanks to the beautiful Niw for the excellent insurance and tips during the walkthrough. He knitted me an eight for insurance (and did it expertly - I never mastered the knot ) I only had to climb up! I'm just thrilled! Whenever I get the chance, I'll definitely come back here again! I think for a more or less sporty one, it's going to be really great. For the non-sporting, it will be very difficult and not interesting.
1000% recommend! Amazing ☺️

5.00Amazing! Can’t recommend more. Had the best day with Hot Rock. They took us to great climbs which were shady to keep cool, great instruction to help you climb. So much fun, super chill vibes, definitely go with these guys :)

5.00The 3 day lead climbing course was fun and a great confidence builder. The not rock guides are great! If you have time for a rest day after the 2nd day I recommend it!

5.00Hot Rock Climbing School has taken excellent care of us our retreat groups several times over the years. The owner, Luang, and all of the staff are incredible. We’ve experienced so many fun, safe, and special climbing experiences with Hot Rock, and can’t wait to return and visit them again.
