Umm Qais or Qays is a town in northern Jordan principally known for its proximity to the ruins of the ancient Gadara. It is the largest city in the Bani Kinanah Department and Irbid Governorate in the extreme northwest of the country, near Jordan's borders with Israel and Syria
Jerash Ruins
Jerash is a city in Jordan, north of the capital Amman. Inhabited since the Bronze Age, it’s known for the ruins of the walled Greco-Roman settlement of Gerasa just outside the modern city. These include the 2nd-century Hadrian’s Arch, the Corinthian columns of the Temple of Artemis and the huge Forum’s oval colonnade. The Jerash Archaeological Museum displays artifacts excavated from the site

5.00We were overjoyed to have Jordan Horizons Tours accompany us for five days in Jordan, from the moment we landed until our departure. The tour was perfectly executed according to our customized plan. We initially came for the famous Petra, the stunning landscapes, and the wild Wadi Rum desert — but after this journey, we experienced far more than we ever expected. We left not only with unforgettable sights, but also with a deeper understanding of Jordan’s rich culture and its wonderful people. Our driver, Fead, was incredibly attentive throughout the trip. He shared fascinating stories that helped us appreciate the warmth of the locals, recommended great places to shop, helped us avoid tourist traps, and even showed us interesting spots beyond our itinerary. One time, I forgot my jacket, and he kindly drove back half an hour to retrieve it for me — such a thoughtful gesture. This journey truly made us fall in love with Jordan, and we would absolutely love to return in the future.

5.00The Jordan Horizon team is a very well organised , perfect team to have a trip to Jordan. Every driver, every guide is just perfect. I can't thank Aida enough for this lovely tour plan. And also our driver Faed, Ali and Yusuf. All of them were always on time and so polite. ! Special mention to our Petra guide, Dia for his immense knowledge and great speaking skills. Hats off to the team. ❤️❤️❤️

5.00This travel agency was recommended to me by my friend as he enjoyed his experience with them and I can say the same. I was in communication with them the entire process and they helped me a lot and even made suggestions on how to make my trip more memorable. The sales agent, Aida, guided me with the necessary requirements and customized our itinerary to my liking and even took the requests I asked for. Our driver in Jordan, Aladdin, was just the sweetest, he has been with us for 5 days and always asked for me and my friend’s well being, he was always on time and was very easy to keep in touch with, he drove us safely so we were able to rest comfortably during the car ride, he would also point important sites to us and give us a brief explanation and he would sometimes give us tea as the weather was very cold, he never complained even though we had a lot luggage and even recommended what food to try in Jordan. Our driver in Jerusalem, Ahmed, was kind and approachable, even though we were togwther for a short time we felt comfortable around him. Our guide in Petra, Sami, and our guide in Jerusalem, Raed, were very knowledgeable and were able to answer any questions that we had, we were able to learn more not just about the places we went to but also the culture. Would definitely book them again if I ever come back and explore other places in Jordan.

5.00The best experience we could have on a tour, amazing places, beautiful culture , friendly, we were received super well, our guide and driver Samy was very helpful, attentive, excellent person, friendly and patient. Hotel 10/10 good location delicious food. Going to Petra was magical, jerash a lot of history, the spectacular dead sea and always the agency attentive to everything. Super recommended, safe and economical. My partner and I are grateful for everything.

5.00JH made everything easy. Wonderful tour around Amman and the major sites—Dead Sea, Petra and Wadi Rum. We felt well taken care of. No safety concerns at all in Jordan. Hassan was our driver and was excellent! Highly recommend this tour.

5.00We had the most wonderfull family tour with Classic Wadi Rum tours!! First of all we were assisted in setting up the program for the tour and got some very nice tips and advice. Hisham arranged everything so well for us. He arranged assistance and pick up at the Sheikh Hussein Border. The Visa were already arranged by Hisham, so all procedures went very quickly. Also we had a driver during our trip and a guide in Petra and Jerash. Every time the driver was perfectly on time to pick us up, the van was very comfortable and even had wifi. We visited the most wonderfull places in Jordan, especially Petra and Wadi Rum was amazing. At the Wadi Rum desert a jeep tour was included and also a camel ride and lunch at a bedoin camp. All together a fantastic experience!! We would definitely recommend this company and book again with Classic Wadi Rum Tours!!!
