Joya de Ceren is the only UNESCO protected site in El Salvador and Copan Ruins is the only Cultural UNESCO protected site in Honduras. Learn about Mayan ancient civilization and visit two of the most important sites in all the area. Take a bilingual tour through both sites and make your border crossing smoother, having your own translator and guide. Travel in a safe way through Central America. We dont include the entrances to the tunnels in Copan nor the entrance to the Sculpture Museum.

Visita to Joya de Ceren, San Andres, Border Crossing into Honduras
Joya de Ceren Archaeological Park
We will visit Joya de Ceren early in the morning. The place is under the shade for the majority of the part. We spend one hour here.
San Andres is a Mayan site located near Joya de Ceren. This was the administrative center of the whole valley of Zapotitan. It hosts an acropolis and 7 structures (pyramids)
Visit to Copan Ruins Main Site, Optional Tunnels and Sculpture Museum. Drive back to San Salvador.
Copan Ruinas
We will visit the Main Site early in the morning. Please come prepared with a hat, sunblock, mosquito repellant and good shoes for walking and going on top of the tall pyramids.
Sculpture Museum
We will visit the Sculpture Museum located right next to the Main Site.
We cross the borders back to El Salvador
