Amboro National Park
Amboró National Park is one of the most important protected areas in Bolivia and South America. Within its boundaries lie a variety of ecosystems ranging from the Yungas cloud forest to the Andes and the Chaco region. The Giant Ferns of Amboró are a true natural treasure, reaching heights of up to 13 meters — and growing only 1 centimeter per year. This cloud forest is one of the few places in the world where these prehistoric, tree-like plants still survive, dating back to the time of the dinosaurs.
Duration: 3 hours: Hike to the Giant Ferns and return on the same path.
