I joined the WAT group for the K2 GGLA trek from the States, seeking an 18-day adventure. After researching various operators, I chose WAT due to their flexibility and expertise. The team exceeded my expectations! Our leaders were highly experienced, fluent in English, and demonstrated exceptional weather knowledge. The porters were incredible, handling challenging terrain with ease, while other groups struggled at Gondogoro La. Completing this trek was a dream come true! Having explored Europe, Nepal, and Russia, I can confidently say that the Karakoram region's natural beauty and raw mountains are unparalleled and of course more challenging as well. The region's breathtaking landscapes made this journey truly unforgettable. I highly recommend WAT for this incredible adventure.
