Sakurajima Nagisa Foot Bath Park
One of the largest footbaths in Japan with a length of 100 meters. It uses natural hot springs with a source temperature of 42 degrees that gush out from 1,000 meters underground. When you soak in the reddish-brown footbath, your body will be warmed up and relaxed. Take a break while looking out at Kagoshima Bay spreading out in front of you or Sakurajima towering behind you.

5.00It was the best decision to take a private tour for Kagoshima, we had Hitomi as our guide , very fluent in English and brought us to places we wanted to see, the best was her booking us for an authentic Wagyu lunch, it was the best steak we ever had. Though the weather was cloudy and rainy, Hitomi’s spirit is up and about. It was a great day after all.

5.00Our entire family enjoyed this tour. We were able to squeeze in quite a bit considering we had limited time due to this being a quick cruise port stop for us. From the foot baths to the observation areas, this was a great way to see the highlights of Kagoshima.

5.00Booked on short notice and with a huge family yet Hitomi was able to accommodate us. Hitomi is very knowledgeable and provided us with an excellent tour. The Wagyu beef lunch was excellent. Very easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend.

5.00Despite the constant rain, the tour was still fantastic. The volcano and surrounding areas were beautiful. The old historic villa was fascinating and the gardens beautiful. We had the best tour guide Hitomi! Her knowledge and experience were exceptional and her English was excellent. The Wagyu beef lunch was the best meal of our entire trip thus far - excellent recommendation! We enjoyed our day with Hitomi very much. Just one point of clarification for those who are booking, the Taxi for the day is about $325 on top of the Viator fees. Well worth it for a large nice private van, but plan your trip and budget accordingly.

5.00This was truly a wonderful tour. We arrived in port on the cruise ship the Crystal Symphony and the volcano erupted in front of our eyes. Spectacular. Hitomi met us at the port had everything arranged. She chartered a very nice jumbo taxi with a very friendly professional driver. Real luxury. We took the Sakurajima ferry to the Sakuragjima volcano. We had an informative visit to the museum, a geothermal footbath, hike through the lava fields, and lookout over the bay. We had a fantastic lunch at Bakuro yakiniku restaurant. Lunch was not only delicious, but also a great experience. We toured of Senganen Garden. The Senganen Garden gave us a real feel for life as a Samurai. I wish we had more time; there is so much to see. Hitomi is a lovely person. Her English and grammar are excellent. Lots of stories and a wonderful sense of humor. She knows the history, the culture and geography. Very informative. No question went unanswered, and we asked a lot of questions. 5 Stars, no question!

5.00We couldn't have asked for a better guide. Hitomi was friendly, knowledgeable and spoke good English. She recommended a restaurant for lunch that served an authentic wagyu beef lunch that was amazing, everyone enjoyed it. We filled the trip with the best highlights of the area, enjoying a foot spa from the volcanic hot springs along the way. Hitomi explained what we were visiting in detail, which was most interesting. I would highly recommend this tour and guide.

5.00We had a fantastic 7 hour shore excursion with Hitomi during our cruise in July on Diamond Princess. Hitomi was very helpful and efficient with the communication beforehand and planned us an amazing day, the highlights being Sakurajima and Senganen Gardens. During the day, Hitomi looked after us so well, giving us interesting information and changing things around during the day to make sure that our whole group were happy and that we made the most of our stop in Kagoshima. We would not hesitate to recommend Hitomi to anyone!

5.00Our guide, Hitomi, was excellent. We booked two days of private tour and were able to explore Kagoshima, Sakurajima, Chikan, and Ibusuki. She was knowledgeable, personable, and enjoyable. My family and I really enjoyed her and the tour. Would definitely recommend her!

5.00We had an incredible full-day tour in Kagoshima with Hitomi! She was exceptionally professional and accommodating. Even though we got off the ship more than 30 minutes earlier than planned, she responded immediately and met us within 10 minutes of my text. She guided us through Kagoshima’s top attractions with so much insight and care, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. Hitomi also went above and beyond to help us make a reservation for an amazing black pork hot pot lunch that our whole family absolutely loved. Her attention to detail, flexibility, and warm personality made this one of the best tours we’ve ever had. I highly recommend booking with Hitomi if you’re visiting Kagoshima—you won’t regret it!
