5.00We travelled from Darwin city at the end of March. The journey was an eight hour round trip including stops, which was a bit punishing but the lunch was good. Our driver/guide (Prem) was very helpful and informative, but a near constant three hour commentary on the outward journey was a bit too much. Sometimes less is more. You definitely need to check what time of year you go. We thought that in March it was the end of summer in Australia, which it is, but it is also the wet season in the Northern Territory. That means the crocodiles are far less visible at this time of year. There are thousands of crocodiles in the park, but on our trip but we only saw one!
