We had Toshi as our guide and she was incredible. The tour was a highlight to our trip! It was well paced and we saw many different places. Without Toshi, we would not happen really understood what we were seeing and experiencing and I’m sure we would have missed out on so much. Thanks Toshi

I would highly recommend taking this tour. Ms. Haga, our guide, was wonderful, knowledgeable and fun and we had the perfect day. She knows so much about the history and details of each site visited, was so kind to our family, and reserved a top-notch restaurant for our lunch. I would love to do this tour again as everything was perfect. She also made the tour so much fun for our children (boys of the ages 13, 11 and 11).

I am a solo female traveller and wanted something authentic and off the beaten track ! Had wanted to be with a guide so that I would not get lost at all . This was ideal for me as a day trip away from the concrete jungle of Tokyo. After a few days in Tokyo I needed I needed a break, Teiko is a very special guide attentive to our every need. She took us on a nature trail and understood exactly what I had wanted. I had the culture and shrines too . Our lunch was so authentic in a gorgeous little restaurant It’s a day that I will remember forever so thank you so much Teiko. Highly recommended,

Yu was a wonderful guide; we felt so fortunate to have the opportunity to spend the day with her! What an enjoyable way to spend the day. Easy train from Tokyo, lovely hiking and visiting monuments. She took us to a fabulous lunch spot that we never would have found without her. Highly recommend this tour.

Mountain pass hiking was a bit strenuous, but worth the chance to visit some of Kamakura’s more remote shrines and temples. Ended the tour with both Hasedera and the Daibutsu. On a day that was less hot (95°F / 35°C) we would have covered a few more sites, but needed to take more breaks than expected. Great experience!

Our guide, Shoji Iida, was so good! He was knowledgeable about the history of the temples. The Great Buddha was an amazing sight! He helped navigate us through all the train transfers. I highly recommend this private tour!

Despite having been to Kamakura several times, this time I went with friends and a guide, Kameda-san, and discovered new places and learned more about the history of the site. She was very friendly and professional. He explained everything, and one thing I really liked about the tour is that you enjoy the places more when they explain, for example, why the temples were built in Kamakura and not elsewhere.
