5.00Our tour guide Maki was excellent. She was very pleasant, knowledgeable and gave us such a clear, easy to understand history of Buddha Temples and Shinto Shrines including how people of today carry the Japanese customs forward as part of everyday life. I don’t think we would have had the same experience if we did this on our own. She lives in Kamakura and was so happy to share her home town with us. She also shared her must try foods while in Japan. Book your tour with Maki. You won’t be disappointed.

5.00We had an excellent trip with Miyu as our guide in Kamakura. She made the whole experience fun and relaxing while showing us the city’s main attractions, including beautiful Shinto shrines, important Buddha temples, and the famous Great Buddha statue. Miyu shared fascinating history along the way and even introduced us to local treats like pigeon cookies and octopus crackers. What stood out most was how thoughtful and attentive she was—making sure we had plenty of rest breaks and opportunities to stay hydrated. Thanks to her, the day was both memorable and comfortable. Highly recommended!

5.00Midori was such a great guide for us in Kamakura. She was very knowledgeable about the history and showed us the big Buddha and temples and shrines. She also showed some great viewing spots of the city and toon wonderful pictures.

Everything about the tour - from riding the Enoden train, visiting the Great Buddah, and enjoying the beauty of the various shrines, temples and scenery - was just perfect. Our tour guide, Maki - was a gem. It was beautiful to see how much she loved her community and how she wanted to share it with others.
