In this 3-hour private walking tour, you will not only discover the stories behind the various historical ethnic quarters but also sample 9 different local tastings.
Explore the ethnic quarters of Kampong Glam, Little India and Chinatown, where early immigrants to Singapore had created communities. Within each quarter, experience the sights, sounds and flavours of each ethnic groups and discover interesting nuggets of facts and hidden sights that you would have missed. What's more, taste authentic local food and drink while your guide reveals the historical and cultural stories behind each tasting.
Each tasting stop is always in an authentic local eatery or hawker centre for you to experience first-hand where the locals love to eat. As bonus, you would get an opportunity to take a ride on the MRT, just like how the locals get around.

5.0Such a great excursion! Our tour guide was so knowledge of the history and culture of Singapore. We got a great introduction to the mixing pot of culture and a sneak peak into the day to day hustle and bustle of dominant cultures and their markets. We got to experience their subway system which was exciting. Everything we eat and drank were delicious. It was me and my grandmother and we were stuffed after sampling so many dishes that we did not need dinner that night!

5.0It was a food walking tour filled with interesting history about the various areas! Our guide, Grace, was very knowledgeable and provided us with a very enjoyable tour…even though it was raining, Grace was very informative and made the day bright!

5.0Our guide Joseph was excellent; extremely informative and the food was a wide variety of things we would never normally come across. Would highly recommend if you are interested in history and local cuisine.

3.0The food was delicious. Choices were good. Guide was knowledgeable. She could have been a little more attentive to our comfort, i.e. could have brought more Napkins and wipes. A lot of the foods were finger foods and the booths don't supply napkins. Guide could pay closer to the details.

5.0Our guide was Grace and she was amazing. Super patient and informative as she guided us from through the steets of Singapore. Found out about so many new places to visit and got to try new food. Do come hungry as there is plenty to try. Thank you Grace we had a fabulous time.
