Your day tour begins with pickup from your hotel. After a local breakfast stop in Ambepussa, visit Pinnawala Elephant Village, where you visit Millennium Elephant Foundation for a hands-on experience with elephants. Next, explore a spice garden in Mawanella before heading to the Sacred Tooth Relic Temple in Kandy. Enjoy a stroll through the historic city and lunch at a scenic viewpoint (lunch not included),and a gem factory to learn about Sri Lanka’s gem industry. On your return, stop at a tea factory in Kadugannawa to discover Ceylon tea production and enjoy a tasting session.

Millennium Elephant Foundation

An optional stop on the tour is the Millennium Elephant Foundation, where you can spend around 20 minutes learning about elephant care and conservation. Guests may choose to participate or skip this activity based on their interest and preference.

We had an amazing time on this trip. Semila is an incredible guide, such a nice guy and very knowledgeable about this wonderful country. The trips were great value for money and really enjoyable and tailored to your own needs. Yala national park is a must see, the driver Semila hired to take us around the park was incredible, and got us up close to a family of elephants....priceless. 5 star, would definitely book again when we return to Sri Lanka.
