Explore an otherwise inaccessible part of Kangaroo Island on a guided ATV tour through open grassland, native bush and rocky terrain. Master the controls of your own bike as your group zooms past gorgeous scenery.

If you are looking for something extra special, our 170 minute Edge of the Earth Tour will put you through your paces on some challenging terrain, rewarding you with stunning views of the Southern Ocean.

Whether you take the introductory option or the more challenging tracks, your expert guide ensures a safe, fun ride for all levels of experience (even kids are allowed to participate).

Suitable for all physical fitness levels

Minimum age for passengers is 4 years, for drivers is 6 years

Please wear closed-toe shoes and long pants

Children 17 years and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian 18 year or over.

We are located in Vivonne Bay, which is approximately a 90-minute drive from the Penneshaw ferry terminal, but unfortunately, we do not provide a shuttle service nor are there taxis/ubers on the island.

The most exciting way to experience Kangaroo Island's unique wildlife and scenery! Ride your own quad bike (ATV) or go as a passenger in a buggy (UTV) cruising through a wide variety of terrain. Your experienced Guide will give you the instructions you need to ride safely over rocks, around sandy corners and more, dependant on your abilities. As well as give you plenty of information on the wildlife that you may encounter along the way. All participants are fitted out with safety gear and instructed on the safe operation of a quad bike. Tours are tailored to be suitable for beginners and /or experienced riders. With different tours available, whether you are a young family trying quad biking for the first time, or you want a more extreme adventure and epic views, there is an option to suit you!

We did the this experience on our last day on KI our guide Emily was really lovely and super helpful, the tour was great taking the ATVs over lots of different terrain through different bush areas (not just in a small circuit) stopping briefly on the way to spot different animals and getting a bit of a run down on local events and interesting trivia we thoroughly enjoyed every moment we were made to feel welcome, well informed and above all very safe, we would thoroughly recommend this to anyone interested in seeing the bush with a touch of adrenalin.

Great experience. Nic was a great guide, felt very safe in his care and he was very knowledgeable about the island fauna and flora. First time on a quad bike and we had the best time. Even saw a koala 🐨.

We had a fantastic time on the Edge of the Earth Quad Adventure. It was definitely a memorable part of our Kangaroo Island trip, and we highly recommend requesting Nic as your guide. Nic was excellent. He was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable, providing great instruction on how to handle the quad equipment and the track safely. Crucially, he was also highly informative about the beautiful local nature we saw along the way, and even shared some fantastic tips on other activities to check out across Kangaroo Island. He ensured the entire experience felt safe, fun, and genuinely engaging. If you're looking for an adventurous and informative way to explore Kangaroo Island, this is a great choice!

We did the 110-minute quad tour. Our guide was Nic and he led us through a great tour.. First we got to know the quads on a practice course. Then we went on the tour through sandy, rocky and winding terrain. He also gave us a lot of information about the island as well as the flora and fauna. Absolutely cool adventure and recommended!
