We will start our tour from the Chhaya Devi Complex Thamel(Tour Hub of Nepal). After meeting at the meeting point we moved to the oldest local market side of Kathmandu which is called Ason Bazar where we can find many unique shops and local lifestyle, culture, tradition, temples, Stupas, and local lifestyle. On the way to the Local Market, we can find many unique local food stalls where we taste a few of local foods and drinks(Minimum of 5 Items).

the guide brought me to try the lesser known foods in Kathmandu, and visited places that mostly only locals wil be aware of (off the grid). it's an enriching experience about the food and cultures of Kathmandu, and exciting treat for the taste bud.

The guide was super friendly and enthusiastic, and explained Nepali food in such a clear and fun way. Thanks to this tour, we got to learn about local dishes, different types of staples, and the unique cultures of the people here. It really helped us understand Nepal better. We had no idea Nepali food was so rich and delicious! Since we’re just here for a short trip and not very familiar with the local lifestyle, having the guide show us around made everything so much easier and more enjoyable. Thank you for giving us such a fun and memorable night!

Really nice guy. Easy company, and eager to share his knowledge and enthusiasm for Kathmandu and its food scene. We were absolutely stuffed after 2 hours and had enough delicious and varied food to feed about 3 people. Incredible value. Delicious backstreet places you’d struggle to find on your own. Come hungry. Highly highly recommended

I felt relieved that he accompanied me to the depths of the market, which I would not have been able to go to on my own. It was fun to talk with him, the food was delicious, and it was a great experience.

Santosh is a legend. Honestly a fantastic food tour that I’d recommend to anyone. He’s a knowledgable and genuine local with a passion for quality tourism. We talked about everything from local history, politics and culture and of course had a fantastic introduction to the food scene. We ate and drank quality specialities with an interesting walk between each. There was just the two of us with Santosh and that made it even more memorable. Thank you!

It was great having Santosh guide us through the hectic, bustling market! He was very knowledgeable and gave us so much information on customs and traditions and what we were seeing. The food choices were great and I feel like we had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Santhos and Mount Glory.

Our guide Santos was very knowledgeable and shared many interesting facts with us as well as sampling food. It was a great experience at a good price. He was patient as we took photos thru the market and answered many of our questions.

Santosh is a great host/guide. He not only knows where to go for uniquely great local food, he's informative on many topics & FUN! I had the best lassi, samosa & chatapati ever plus had dishes new to me, like kajha at a lovely Newari restaurant, and more. You'll go deeper into neighborhoods you might otherwise miss. FOOD LOVERS, EXPLORERS, GO FOR IT!
