  It is an absolutely fabulous experience. That goes around the entire island of Kauai. We went in February, so it got pretty cool and more than likely you may get a rain squall or two but the overall quality of the ride is spectacular. In my opinion it is a “must do” while on the Island. Nate was an excellent pilot and gave good and pertinent information during the entire tour.

• Doors off is THE only way

  Only way to fly a helicopter is doors off! Photos come out beautifully (glare free) and the ride is more engaging. Our pilot Chris was local, and full of knowledge along the way of the one hour flight. Start to finish Jack Harter Helicopters is a polished outfit, from check in, delivery and return full of island spirit. Definitely will fly Jack Harter again. Mahalo

  An awesome way to see Kauai. Breathtaking, we were left speechless. Our pilot Arthur, was like an encyclopedia (revealing my age) and his shared knowledge describing the landscape and Hawaian culture made the trip all the more interesting.

  In order to experience the entire magnificence of Kauai, this tour is number one. We were fortunate to have great weather and pilot. It’s amazing the beauty of the inter island that one can’t view from driving around or boating to. Our only negative was inability to understand the pilot’s narrative due to air noise.

  Excellent, a trip not to be missed. Chris our pilot was fantastic, gave a commentary of the flight,extremely knowledgeable. We were collected from the port and taken back to the port, very efficient. Word of warning! Make sure you enter correct weight. The website would not retain weight value entered? There was an issue with this.

  Arthur was incredible! What a breath taking experience. Wow. Got to see the whole island. Places you would never be able to go. If you want to see the whole island do this! But it’s scary!

  All the set-up was great. Location easy to find, check-in smooth, bus ride to airport good, friendly staff. They supply a wrist strap for your phone which worked very well (wish they had told us that before we purchased our own devices that btw they wouldn't let us use). However, you get assigned a seat based on some weight process. I weigh 140# and was assigned behind the female pilot which to weigh about same as I did. Though 2 heavier men on the trip were both on outside? So not sure how the weight was balanced. Be warned, if you are behind the pilot (which is out of your control) you will see darn little compared to other passengers. All the sights are pointed out to 3 other passengers and you will not see them as there is a big wall to your front right where the sites are. The flight is clockwise around island so you will NOT get to see up into Waimea canyon and on the napali coast your main view will be the water. The pilot only circled once the entire trip so that I could see one of the waterfalls she had pointed out. Also be forewarned that you can take nothing, including a ball cap. My hair quickly escaped my pony tail and was painful hitting my face entire flight.

  I did this doors off ride for my 30th birthday it was the most amazing experience ever wish it was never ending ! I recommend 100X Big thanks to Chrissy the pilot she was amazing! And all the staff !!

  It’s a once in a lifetime experience. We had Chrissy (a former marine) as our pilot. She was awesome, fun and knowledgable. We loved the scenery and the experience. Highly recommend this company and our pilot.

  My family of four really enjoyed our helicopter tour. Our pilot Nick was great. Such a fun way to see the Island. It was such a thrilling ride.
