5.00What s beautiful park but managing it at front gate is really disgusting. We had top wait over 1 1/2h at the gate to get tickets. 80% those visitors were foreigners and they were grumbling. Early and on line booking facility is a must. It is the tour guide /drive decides where to go as it is a optional to Minneriya. They know where the elephants would be on that particular day with previous days experiences. We have seen just over 100 elephants with around 8 tuckers. Also saw a eagle feeding on another bird.. on our way back we gave a way to a elephant to cross the road but another jeep came and blocked the path so elephant has no way to go and went back. This was very cruel. Jeep drivers discipline should be addressed as well.

5.00It's been an amazing experience! The boy who took us in Jeep has been very respectful to elephants, at all times! They were approaching the jeeps and the elephants were camping wide, they have complete freedom to go where they want not as in other safaris. Even on the way to the hotel there was a road in the area. It was an amazing experience, seeing so many elephants in a herd and in freedom. We recommend going in the afternoon from 16 as recommended by our guide as that is when you see them well!

5.00We saw a huge herd of elephants up close—such a magical moment! The safari was extraordinary, Beautiful scenery and plenty of wildlife. A must-visit if you’re in Sri Lanka!
