Paddle across the largest saltwater lagoon in the Antilles on a guided kayak expedition. Your tour begins at Kim Sha Beach in Simpson Bay. Upon arrival receive a kayaking lesson and safety orientation before setting off on your sit-on-top kayak. You will follow your guide at a leisurely pace across the largest saltwater lagoon in the Antilles and marvel at the magnificent mega yachts that make St. Maarten their winter base from November to April. During your paddle your guide will point out sights of interest, including the imaginary water border between the Dutch and French sides of the island. A brief stop gives you a chance to rest your muscles as well as learn about the island’s vibrant history and the lagoon’s complex ecosystem before paddling back to Kim Sha for a refreshing dip in the ocean and a well deserved complimentary beverage.

5.00We had Elroy as our guide this morning for the 9am 2+ hour eco tour. My oldest and me have done 2 eco tours before, my wife and youngest has done 1 other eco tour back in the USA. Both tours were also 2+ hours long and this one did not disappoint. Everyone had a blast and enjoy learning so much of the marine life in Sint Maarten. We paddled out to a shallow spot where Elroy found a lot of different sea life and let the kids, my wife and myself get to see them up close and personal. Once the kids saw him find a couple of the creatures it became a game/challenge for them to see what they could find and point out to him. This was nice rest and very exciting after exploring we heading back. All 4 of us had a blast and would recommend this experience for everyone willing to do a little paddling. Thanks Elroy for an amazing experience and memories for my entire family for a life time.

5.00A big shout out and Thank you to our Guides/Instructors. I have never Kayaked before, however my daughter had. We were divorced before our paddles hit the water!! It was hard work for a first timer, however we did get a little piggyback from Tyrone at one point as we were lagging behind!!. Crossing the lagoon was an experience in its self!! All sorts of water crafts coming from different angles which rocked the kayak but we managed to stay in it !! Hearing, seeing, touching and learning about the marine life was fascinating. The only downside was being given the WRONG TIME of transport leaving for the trip. We arrived 20 mins earlier to the RVP (08.40 hrs) and told the coach had left with only two passengers. (The time given when booking this was 09.00 hrs )The next bus leaves at 11.00 hrs. We arrived again at 10.30 hrs, but there was a problem and the bus never left until gone midday!! This didn't give us much opportunity to visit the beach after the Kayak experience.

5.00We had a wonderful experience with Elroy and Casey! They were fun, informative and let us kayaking at our own pace. The lagoon was beautiful and we enjoyed Elroy showing us live specimens from the area. My husband and I love to kayak but dont get to do it as often as we like so when we cruise each year, we try to do a kayaking excursion. This one wqs one of the best. Highly recommend Trisport in St Maarten! Elroy and Casey were the best!

5.00Was an amazing snorkel tour we kayak to a next beach and snorkel saw eagle ray, turtles and lots of fishes Casey our tour guide do an amazing job with us felt safe and was super fun. I definitely will be doing it again

5.00Elroy was a professional and fun tour guide on our kayak paddle along the lagoon and mangroves. Highlights were seeing the iguanas up close as well as see urchins and other marine life and of course the fancy yachts and beautiful vistas along the bay! We highly recommend the curry with macaroni pie at the Cocky Turtle beach bar and renting sun umbrellas and loungers there as well!

5.00Great experience kayaking the Lagoon really enjoyed the guides Elroy and Casey they made sure everyone was comfortable kayaking the lagoon and helped you if you needed it. They lock your stuff up it is safe so don’t bring anything extra with you on the kayak. Definitely worth doing this excursion.

5.00Hubby & I did the kayak tour of Simson Bay/Kim Sha beach. My husband was sick for a few days and thankfully, they allowed us to change our date. The kayak was easy to maneuver and was fun to get out on the water for an hour.

5.00Loved the experience! This was our first time kayaking, and the two guides made it truly unforgettable. I was kayaking with my daughter when she suddenly became ill, and one of the guides immediately stepped in and towed us all the way back without hesitation. Their professionalism, kindness, and focus on safety really stood out. They go above and beyond to make sure everyone feels safe while still getting to enjoy the incredible beauty of the island. Highly recommend Kayak Lagoon Tour.
