Paddle across the largest saltwater lagoon in the Antilles on a guided kayak expedition. Your tour begins at Kim Sha Beach in Simpson Bay. Upon arrival receive a kayaking lesson and safety orientation before setting off on your sit-on-top kayak. You will follow your guide at a leisurely pace across the largest saltwater lagoon in the Antilles and marvel at the magnificent mega yachts that make St. Maarten their winter base from November to April. During your paddle your guide will point out sights of interest, including the imaginary water border between the Dutch and French sides of the island. A brief stop gives you a chance to rest your muscles as well as learn about the island’s vibrant history and the lagoon’s complex ecosystem before paddling back to Kim Sha for a refreshing dip in the ocean and a well deserved complimentary beverage.

5.00Leasurly 1.5h kayak paddle in the lagoon with Leroy our very informative and fun guide! We saw nice boats and yachts, iguanas, marine life and nice scenery along the bay!

5.00Elroy was a professional and fun tour guide on our kayak paddle along the lagoon and mangroves. Highlights were seeing the iguanas up close as well as see urchins and other marine life and of course the fancy yachts and beautiful vistas along the bay! We highly recommend the curry with macaroni pie at the Cocky Turtle beach bar and renting sun umbrellas and loungers there as well!

5.00Great experience kayaking the Lagoon really enjoyed the guides Elroy and Casey they made sure everyone was comfortable kayaking the lagoon and helped you if you needed it. They lock your stuff up it is safe so don’t bring anything extra with you on the kayak. Definitely worth doing this excursion.

5.00Hubby & I did the kayak tour of Simson Bay/Kim Sha beach. My husband was sick for a few days and thankfully, they allowed us to change our date. The kayak was easy to maneuver and was fun to get out on the water for an hour.

5.00Loved the experience! This was our first time kayaking, and the two guides made it truly unforgettable. I was kayaking with my daughter when she suddenly became ill, and one of the guides immediately stepped in and towed us all the way back without hesitation. Their professionalism, kindness, and focus on safety really stood out. They go above and beyond to make sure everyone feels safe while still getting to enjoy the incredible beauty of the island. Highly recommend Kayak Lagoon Tour.

5.00Casey and Elroy were excellent guides. They gave clear kayaking instructions at the beginning of the tour. They were friendly and helpful. The tour was fun and interesting, as they showed our group several sea animals. The scenery was spectacular. It was a great way to spend the morning in St. Maarten.

5.00Met at cruise ship dock by Pablo, who efficiently and skillfully got us to transport. Sean/Shawn drove us to beach. Elroy gave us an excellent safety briefing before setting out on an exhilarating paddle through the harbor area, with a couple of educational sea life stops over to the mangrove area. They kept an eye on all the kayakers at all times, were knowledgeable about the sea creatures and iguanas. Served us beverages after our adventure and were communicative and friendly throughout.

5.00We had so fun on St. Maarten kayaking through a lagoon near the ocean. Our tour guides were amazing and very knowledgeable! They provided us with all the equipment and a bottle of water. The guide said you never go out on the ocean without water, you never know how long you will be there. Thankfully, it was a perfect three hour tour! They showed us iguanas, a starfish, a sea cucumber, and a sea slug! I am so glad my sister chose this excursion!!! Thank you for a wonderful adventure!
