Truly unique guided kayaking tour on the beautiful Lake Brienz. Fit for explorers of all skill levels, this outing features the towering cliffs, forested hillsides, and calm waters that make Interlaken one of the most picturesque settings around.
The session lasts 3 hours of which we spent around 2 hours on the water.
What’s included: experienced sea kayak coach, small group sizes (from 2-6), top quality sea kayaks and paddles, as well as a digital photo package.

Check-in is 5 minutes prior to the booked tour start time.
Children 11 and younger are not allowed.
You do not need previous kayaking experience, but you must be able to handle a kayak on your own.
If you have back, neck, lower back, joint or muscular problems, you should carefully consider whether or not to participate.
You should bring swimsuit, change of clothes, waterproof footwear, sunglasses, sun hat, sunscreen, a bottle of water, and snacks.

Our half day tours run regularly throughout the summer months and are suitable for all abilities. Our tours start in Bönigen on Lake Brienz where we travel across the River Lütschine, heading towards the north shore, exploring beautiful cliffs, the 12th century Ringgenberg castle and hidden beaches along the way. Your guide will offer instruction on how to develop your paddling skills and will also capture your experience with lots of photos to show to your friends and family back home. Evening Tours: The evening is a special time of the day where the lake calms down again and the sun starts to set. There's always a special calming atmosphere in the evening, perfect for photos and a relaxing way to end the day. The evening tour follows the same itinerary as the half day tour above. The session lasts 3 hours, of which we spend around 2 hours on the water. Our summer tours run from May until October. When the water temperature gets colder we start our winter tours (with drysuits) in October/November. If the dates or times you require are not available, please get in touch and we can see if they would be possible.

4.00Really enjoyed this kayaking experience. It was peaceful out on the lake and we got lots of opportunities to swim. What was missing was more information about Switzerland and the surrounding areas however it was still entertaining just being out there. I had quite a fun group who were all willing to give things a go like jumping out of the kayaks in the middle of the lake etc. Our guide was a nice fellow who chatted with everyone and made us all feel welcome.

5.00Our guided kayak tour was a highlight of our trip! The turquoise waters, cliffs, and mountains were spectacular. Learning about the lake, surrounding area, and getting to know our incredible guide, Sonya, made this excursion unforgettable. Sonya was delightful and even taught us some new tricks on the kayaks. I would recommend this to anyone traveling to or around Interlaken.

5.00This was an excellent tour! The day we had booked was overcast but even then the scenery was beautiful. Our guide West was great and we were able to go quite far as our group was smaller. Would recommend, even on a gloomy day!
