Join us for an unforgettable 3-hour kayak tour in Geirangerfjord, one of Norway's most spectacular fjords. Paddle past majestic mountains and lush green slopes while enjoying the fresh fjord air.
We make our way to Gjerdewaterfall, with its impressive streams of water cascading down the mountainside. In the distance you can see the other famous waterfalls, like "The Seven Sisters" and "The Suitor".
Start your journey at the activity center below the Grande Fjord Hotel with a brief introduction and instructions before you set out onto the crystal-clear waters of the fjord.
Your guide will share interesting stories and facts about the area and local traditions. Along the way, take breaks to capture photos and enjoy the stunning nature.
This tour is perfect for both beginners and experienced paddlers, offering you a unique chance to experience Geirangerfjord from a different perspective.

During our kayaking trip you will have a chance to enjoy a view of Seven Sisters Waterfall NB! The length of the tour (3 hours) does not allow us to paddle all the way to the waterfall. If conditions allow us - we will try our best to get as close as possible. It is important to note that the route of the trip can be changed in case of weather factor

5.00What a great way to feel the full effects of the Fjord and see the waterfalls. It really gave us a perspective on how huge the mountains are and how tiny we really are. The staff were wonderful and helpful. I had so much fear agreeing to do this event but I was very pleasantly surprised. No one got wet and I didn’t tip over.

5.00We had a wonderful experience canoeing in the fjord. The instructors were highly knowledgeable and guided us smoothly throughout the tour. We were provided with shoes and waterproof clothing, which kept us comfortable and dry the whole way. Although we didn’t make it all the way to the Seven Sisters Waterfall, the journey itself was truly enjoyable and memorable.

5.00This was a lovely and relaxing kayak in a beautiful fjord. We were on the water for about 2 hours after taking the first hour to get everyone briefed and loaded. The guides gave good information and kept everyone together. Suitable for experienced and non experienced kayakers alike. I was solo so one of the guides was the rear on my kayak. All in all very pleasant experience.

5.00Such a wonderful way to experience Geiranger. Our guide David, along with Ida, provided expert instruction to get us started and keep us upright and having fun. We packed a lot of paddling into 2+ hours. No better way to see the waterfalls of the fjord. Highly recommend!

5.00Ida & David. Found Uteguiden in Geiranger who use proper kayaks not inflatables. Had a wonderful time under the instruction of Ida supported by David. Our nearly 3 hours of time (8kms) included a trip up to two waterfalls close up. Great photo opportunity you will never have again. This was a great experience feeling at one with nature. Good for the body, mind and soul. Idas knowledge made it a truly interesting live geography lesson experience. This was a very relaxing, calm and therapeutic experience for us all. I would happily do it again and recommend doing it with them. Our ship arrived late but they acclimated us ensuring we got back to the ship in time too.
