Mikros Gialos
The trip starts from the beautiful beach of Mikros Gialos, we paddle near the coast in a southeast direction. We have the chance to observe the amazing geological formations and learn information, from the guides, about the geological phenomena and the interesting history of the area. The final destination of our trip is the spectacular Blue Cave with a hidden entrance. However, until we reach our final destination, we will make many stops on remote beaches for swimming and snorkeling, and we will be given the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful seabed full of big red starfish. On our way back, we will visit another small cave, which offers shelter to small seals during the winter months. A truly amazing sea route for everyone who wants to enjoy the sun, the unique experience of sea kayak, and the beautiful Ionian Sea.

5.00An utterly brilliant day. Despite there only being 2 of us booked for an end-of-season trip and it being a Greek national holiday, it went ahead with the excellent, patient and good natured guide Yiannis. His knowledge of the geology and history of the area is second to none, and he makes excellent spaghetti! A highlight of our trip to this beautiful island.

5.00We took our daughter's (14&17) on this trip without knowing whether they'd enjoy sea kayaking. Thankfully, we all had the most fantastic day with our wonderful guide Yannis. We were lucky enough to have a fairly small group and were able to get to know one another which really added to our experience. Yannis's knowledge of Lefkada and the surrounding areas, as well as his history of Greece and the Ionian islands was fascinating to listen to. He was kind, patient and very funny on the trip and made the most incredible pasta lunch for us all which was just devine! I cannot recommend this trip highly enough. It was also absolutely incredible value for money for the experience and the memories we made.

5.00Absolutely amazing! Paddling along the stunning Ionian Sea, exploring jaw-dropping caves, hidden turquoise beaches, and meeting starfish up close was unforgettable. Our guide, Yannis, shared fascinating stories, great jokes, and kept everyone safe and happy. Delicious homemade pasta and sweet melon made lunch perfect. Highly recommended – I’ll definitely be back!

5.00This is a must do in Lefkada. Yiannis was the best guide. So much fun!! Lunch was delicious. We saw a red starfish which was so cool.

5.00A super day on the sea in kayak, with snorkeling / swimming! Yiannis x 2 - two lovely and open-hearted souls - welcomed us at Mikros Gialos Beach. Became an 11 km round, with an exciting swimming/snorkeling tour in the cave + two second stops including snorkeling to see red sea stars and corals. Lots of interesting information along the way. Good energy replenishment for lunch 🙁 The trip with Periplous Experience is recommended!

5.00Amazing. Easy to book, find, smooth onboarding (literally). Our group was intimate and our guide Yiannis energizing, engaging and knowledgeable. We got to do and see tons of thing in just 4 hours and still it was super chill. Would totally do it again.

4.00Very good quality kayaks and a good guide in beautiful surroundings made it a good trip. The spaghetti was pretty basic but it filled us up. There was not much to see snorkelling but very clear water

5.00We had a fantastic time kayaking from Mikros Gialos around the beautiful bay to the blue cave where we enjoyed a swim and snorkel. We then paddled to a hidden beach and again swam and found brilliant red starfish. We headed across the bay and had a delicious lunch stop and snorkelled finding amazing yellow coral. We then made our way back to the beautiful Mikros Galios. Our guide Yiannis, was so knowledgeable, fun and friendly making the whole experience great fun! We were among a small group of 7 in total and Yiannis guided us safely and at a pace that worked for all. Thank you Yiannis for making our trip a brilliant experience. We would highly recommend. 5.00we went on a kayaking trip in Lefkada, and it was simply amazing! From the very beginning, the guide made us feel safe and confident. He was very attentive and caring towards each participant (we were a group of almost ten people), always ensuring everyone felt comfortable and secure. He placed great emphasis on safety, while also sharing interesting explanations and stories about the islands along the way, which made the trip even more enjoyable. The scenery was breathtaking, and we stopped for a delicious light meal with fresh fruit for dessert. It was truly a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this company!
