IT IS MANDATORY TO BE ABLE TO SWIM

Minimum age is 14 and minors from 14 to 18 years old have to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

The kayaks have a weight limit of 105 kg per person.

The meeting time is 10 minutes before the start time of the trip.

Subject to favorable weather conditions. If cancelled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund

We were very impressed by all the staff xplore Tenerife Kayak especially our guide William. The instruction on how to use all of the equipment was at a good pace and we felt confident before starting the paddle. We were lucky enough to see some bottle nose dolphins and a very large sea turtle. William was very enthusiastic about the animals and made the experience even more enjoyable. We would highly recommend this trip to anyone with a passion for wildlife in it’s natural environment.

Daniel and the rest of the staff at xplore Tenerife were great to get you geared up and out for an adventure. Great views of los cristianos, sea critters, and even tiede from the water. Definitely do this.

Really great experience! They had wetsuits, changing rooms, loos, and flip flops. They also gave you a locker and a box to use. The instructor was great and went through safety, made us feel very comfortable and went to various sights to watch for dolphins and turtles! We did eventually see one turtle which was amazing. I didn’t expect them to start making dolphin clicking noises to summon dolphins, so if you don’t see them, don’t be upset. I would recommend you are fairly fit as you do have to row about 5000m or so and the sea is quite choppy so take a travel sickness tablet. It took about 3/3.5 hours exactly as advertised. They also took lots of photos and sent a link to see them the next day! Our instructor was Corrado/Ferrado (I didn’t hear sorry!) but he was excellent.
