Join this 3-hour kayaking & snorkeling adventure in Tenerife and get up close and personal with turtles and dolphins in their natural environment. Enjoy the beauty of sighting these beautiful animals in the wild, responsibly respecting their freedom and habitat. The adventure takes you along the spectacular cliffs of Guaza Mountain, which is a natural monument. The mountain stands over 400 m above sea level and the picturesque vertical cliffs provide a sanctuary and nesting place for many species of birds. After snorkeling in crystal clear waters, kayaking back to the starting point allows a great opportunity to view the coast of Tenerife and Teide from the sea and almost every time we are lucky to see playful dolphins along the way. While turtles or dolphins sighting is not guaranteed, there is a 90% chance of seeing them during the tour. It is mandatory to be able to swim in order to take part in the activity. The minimum age is 14 years old, this activity is not suitable for pregnant ladies.

Disappointing kayaking experience

2.00We are mixed about this kayaking excursion in search of dolphins and turtles. The day before, we had a similar outing on a yacht, and the experience was much more enjoyable. In the kayak, the sea was much rougher, which made the activity more difficult and less comfortable. We caught a glimpse of the dolphins from a great distance and very briefly, and the turtles in a very vague manner, probably due to the sea conditions which were really rough. The snorkeling moment was also disappointing; with the choppy sea, the water was murky and visibility was nearly nonexistent. The instructor did not really take care of us and did not seem very attentive to the group. Regarding the photos and videos included in the price, we only received 3 or 4 (of poor quality), which is quite disappointing. Finally, while this activity was more expensive than the yacht outing, we enjoyed the experience less.

5.00We left from Los Cristianos beach around 10:00 in the morning. The sea was a bit choppy, but instructors Milan and Paul proved to be very competent, and we were able to get into the kayaks without any problem. We navigated alongside beautiful cliffs, protected natural areas to safeguard the population of seagulls, and we were able to see dolphins and turtles clearly. Instructors Milan and Paul are very kind and welcoming, and they guided us with ease and warmth. A completely recommendable experience!

5.00Incredible!!! We came from the north of Tenerife and we were late and they said it was all good, we were very nervous we started at 10:30. Our guide Antonio was super nice, very kind and he explained everything calmly and made sure we were all okay. 10/10 experience!!!

5.00Amazing Kayak & Snorkel Adventure with Dolphins and Turtles! We took the Tenerife Turtle & Dolphin Kayak Tour on May 16th at 10:30 AM, and it was a awesome 3-hour experience! During the kayak portion, we got to see dolphins, a fish farm, sea turtles, and beautiful coastal views. Since this is the open ocean, the water is a bit cold, but the tour provides you with a wetsuit and life vest. Make sure to wear clothing that allows you to paddle comfortably. For the snorkeling part, we saw different types of fish swimming at depths of 6 to 15 meters around stunning rock formations and open water. If you choose to snorkel, you need to be prepared to safely exit and re-enter your kayak in deep open water. Our guide gave us excellent instructions on how to do this safely. However, if you prefer not to snorkel, you can easily stay in the kayak and just enjoy the water and the beautiful surroundings. As an added bonus, they take photos during the tour that are available afterward. It is a fantastic way to get high-quality shots of the experience without worrying about risking your own camera in the water! Finding the meeting location can be a bit tricky. Our taxi driver had problems finding the place because he wasn't familiar with the area and gave excuses, which made communication challenging. To help future travelers: look for Edificio Cristianmar. It is a white building with rounded balconies right by the sea at the end of the street. The office, Xplore Tenerife, is located on the ground floor. The staff here are absolutely awesome and make the whole experience highly enjoyable. Note: They also offer mountain bike excursions at this location! I wish I had known that beforehand, as I definitely would have booked that tour with them too

5.00This was a wonderful tour. We were lucky enough to see several dolphins and turtles while kayaking. The snorkeling portion was great as well, the visibility was perfect. Our guide Max, was very knowledgeable and professional.

5.00Accompanied by Antonio and Jack, we were able to take a kayak ride followed by a swim. A very pleasant moment where we were able to see several dolphins and a turtle. The guides were very kind, attentive, and passionate. We left with our heads full of memories and beautiful videos made by Jack and Antonio!
