Jiufen Old Street: A fun maze for the adventurous, but a stair workout for others. Not a fan of stairs? No worries—we’ve got plenty of other great tours without the climb!
Keelung Port has 2 different terminals. Important: please let us know are you arriving at East Passenger Terminal, or West Passenger Terminal? Please provide us the name of cruise ship, and time for pickup. Thank you!!!
Starting January 1, 2025, Jiufen will enforce holiday traffic controls (8 AM–8 PM). Tour buses and private cars must park in designated lots, with visitors taking shuttle buses to Jiufen Old Street.
One luggage for one traveler. Please don't bring oversize luggage.
A moderate amount of walking is involved.

5.00Our day with Young was excellent. He communicated in advance and we met him easily at the cruise terminal. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great but he guided us expertly to some wonderful places. We loved sending our lantern into the sky, seeing the gorgeous waterfall and exploring the touristy town of Juifen., among other stops. The tour has a nice mix of places to see outside of the busy city of Taipei. Young was very informative about Taiwan culture, food and history. He took the time to answer our questions honestly and openly. He is an excellent guide and we would highly recommend asking for him if booking this tour.

5.00Very good guide, her English was very good and she was very helpful. She took us to all sites around Taipei, although the weather was dreadful we had a very enjoyable time. We would recommend Jennifer as she was excellent.

5.00Definitely would recommend the Jiufen & Shifen Sky Lantern tour with Jennifer. She picked up our family from the Keelung port. Jennifer was well prepared - snacks, water, umbrellas & rain coats for us. Though it rained all day, Jennifer made it memorable. She speaks excellent English & is a great conversationalist. We will forever have fond memories of our trip. Love that she took photos & sent us a drawing of one of our pic!

5.00When we read that the tour was private we thought it probably meant a small bus. We were delighted to learn that Jennifer was our private tourguide and driver for my daughter and me. She did a great job of showing us everything, putting it in perspective, and maneuvering so I could eliminate some of the walking ( I am 91). We saw so much, had lumch in Old Street Juifen, saw the Golden Water Falls and sent up our wishes in the lantern and saw many other beautiful places. Jennifer was ready for our every need, including umbrellas when it started to rain, and taking pictures of all our adventures. I would recommend this tour and Jennifer to anyone who wants a great experience.
