Area once inside is easy to get around. Most areas inside so good for rain or heat . Theaters are cool so a light jacket might be good. They do have fast food places but the ice cream places are the best .Maybe bring some snacks you like especially with kids. Very informative and interesting worth seeing.

Get scheduled for the bus first. If you choose to see a movie arrive at least 10 minutes early. If you don’t play video games skip virtual reality.

Excellent day out for all those fascinated about Space past, present and the future. We went on a launch day so got to see a rocket go off. We got there early to guarantee a seat at the ‘gantry’ viewpoint but unfortunately the launch was delayed by 3 hours. We stayed at the gantry site to ensure our space as if we left we would not get back due to a capacity limit there. Watched the launch and the this is where it all went wrong. Due to the vastness of the location, buses move you around to different parts. The wait for buses back from the gantry area was unbearable. People were fainting in the heat waiting. The buses then take you to another part of the park, which was well worth a visit to be honest, but then the queue for the buses from here back to the man park site was again about 90 mins. Due to the wait for the buses the park had closed when we left this middle location so did not get to see any of the main park. Granted the delayed rocket launch was responsible for a part of this, but the lack of bus transportation here was the issue.

Like me my wife had been a child during the race for space and the luna landings and although I had been to NASA in 2000 for the first time I had wanted to take my wife there and revisit myself. In 25 years they have improved what was already a great place with new installations and exhibits. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her visit and was so pleased she got to see the Space shuttle Atlantis and the various Apollo mission’s relics. If I ever go back to Florida I would definitely go back again as there is still an off stuff I could read because I ran out of time. Definitely a place to visit if you love science

Bonni was our tour guide today and to say she was amazing would be an understatement......from the big happy welcome at 7am this morning to the knowledge she shared with us (her wicked sense of humour 😀) and the easy way she interacts with guests just added to a wonderful day from start to finish. She really is an absolute credit to Grey Line 👏 last but certainly not least is our driver today Frood, who also welcomed us with a smile and a word for all passengers, we had a lovely safe, comfortable drive to Kennedy space centre. I would highly recommend this company Grey Line if visiting Orlando for your transport and if your lucky enough you may be blessed with Bonni & Frood x
