Timothy Hill

Cockleshell Beach

Spend (2 Hours) on Cockleshell Bay Beach Imagine this: You step onto soft, powdery Brown sand that stretches along a gently curving bay. The water is a brilliant shade of turquoise—calm, warm, and crystal clear, perfect for wading or snorkeling along the shore, Good snorkeling near the rocky edges where colorful fish cluster, with water sports options such as Jet ski rentals, paddle boarding. Just offshore, you can see Nevis rising up like a green velvet dome, giving the whole view a picture-perfect postcard feel.     We enjoyed this experience. The beaches were all exceptionally beautiful. We loved friars bay beach. Frigate bay was pretty with many beach bars for drinks and food. (Just keep in mind it takes about 40 mins plus to get food there on island time service lol). Cockleshell beach (for us) was too packed and not worth it to me to visit based on the beach itself. Kind of wish we had more time on glass beach instead! It was very empty and had a pretty dark sand style beach with sea glass. Loved Timothy hill it’s a stunning lookout point you must see. The driver had beers and other drinks for us unlimited. Kenva was friendly and had good communication and pickup info. The only negative of the tour was we waited an hr for people to show up off the boat. And they never came! I don’t think that was fair for the others, especially if there was no communication with that couple. The tour ran an hr later then which was great, however, in my opinion it shouldn’t surpass a 15-20 min grace period. We could have had more time in the town after instead. And we only spent 1.5 hrs on most beaches instead of the 2 as advertised. Otherwise, this was a great tour to do and I would recommend booking it to have a relaxing day in st kitts!

    This was a great experience, especially for our first trip to St. Kitts. We saw 4 beaches, Timothy Hill and a lot of the island. His Rum Punch was also one of the best we had on the island.

    Ken is extremely nice and accommodating. Drinks a plenty. Thoughtful and caring about all his passengers. Very detailed. Nice video of where he will meet for pickup at cruise ship. Timely. Very informative. Highly recommended. Kept his number to return in the future.

    The place is a dive and not the good kind. Overpriced food, overpriced drinks. Lounge chairs are ripped or missing vinyl slats AND you have to pay to use the run down furniture, even if you booked an excursion to take you there. While you are trying your best to enjoy the place as much as possible, you have Ken roaming up and down the short beach hollering ‘going to bar, working man here, and other non-sense’ to get folks to order drinks. Relaxing was impossible.

    We had a great time at all the beaches!! The only thing I wish I’d known was that I needed better shoes for the black sand sea glass beach bc it’s kind of steep going down. We loved our whole day!!
