Simonehoeve
A real working family farm tucked away from the tourist crowds, and one of the highlights of the day. Travelers spend about an hour here, meeting the animals, feeding the goats, and getting up close with the rhythm of Dutch country life. Inside, the farmer puts on a clog carving and cheese making demonstration that feels less like a presentation and more like a stand up comedy set. You'll laugh, you'll learn, you'll taste real Dutch cheese straight from the source. This is the authentic countryside experience most tours promise but rarely deliver.

5.00I would 100% recommend this small group tour of Keukenhof, Volendam, and Zaanse Schans! Tour operator Adonis is the consummate guide, cheerful, knowledgable, and entertaining. He thoughtfully timed our visits to sites for when they were less crowded and made our diverse group feel like we were old friends. On the drive back to the city we were all clapping to Greek music. It honestly was the best tour I’ve ever taken!

5.00I recently took a guided day trip to the tulip gardens, Volendam, and Zaanse Schans, and I cannot recommend this experience enough! Our Greek guide was exceptional—passionate, deeply knowledgeable, and incredibly well-organized. Every detail of the tour was seamless, and the pacing between the iconic sights felt just right. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5] The colorful tulip gardens were a breathtaking highlight, and exploring the charming streets of Volendam and the historic windmills of Zaanse Schans was an absolute joy. Our guide’s lively commentary and warm hospitality truly brought the beauty of the Netherlands to life. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5] If I could offer one polite suggestion for future itineraries, it would be to allocate less time at the cheese tasting venue. While it is a popular stop, the current experience feels a bit modest, commercial, and somewhat detached from authentic local culture. Trimming down the time spent there would allow guests to spend more time enjoying the beautiful scenery and cultural heritage that make this tour so special. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable day!

5.00Antonis was a wonderful tour guide. Such a sweetheart and he showed us some magical spots in The Netherlands that we wouldn’t have found otherwise. He has excellent taste in music and we can tell he lives his life to the fullest. It brought more excitement to an already exciting day. Seeing the tulips at Keukenhof was the highlight of our whole honeymoon. If you take a tour with Antonis, you will always have a friend in Amsterdam. Thank you again!

5.00This day tour was amazing. Or tour guide was informative and funny. Admission fees are included in the tour price. This tour is pricier than most, but we only had 6 people in a SUV. It was worth the extra $

5.00When you come to Amsterdam, you HAVE to call Antonis at EcoEcho tours and book this trip with him as your guide. We’ve traveled a lot and done a lot of tours but this was by far the greatest experience we’ve ever had. We hit Kuekenhof Gardens at the exact correct time with amazing weather plus Antonis showed us some unique, off the beaten path, parts of Amsterdam that were amazing and special. Antonia added so much color and interesting facts with his insights and history of Amsterdam. And, the icing on the cake was the perfect weather and the absolute best group of people we have ever toured with! We woke up this morning wishing we could do it all over again.
