You’ll experience the island’s best on a full-day all-inclusive trip with an expert guide, with plenty of time to enjoy the pristine lakes, beaches, creeks and rainforest.

Recommended for guests to bring their own front-facing infant seats. Limited child seats are available at an additional charge on request.
Please note we do not carry children under the age of 1 and no refund will be given.
Please note that Queensland law requires all guests travelling on our coaches to wear seat belts at all times, failure to do so could result in a Queensland Government fine.
This tour has separate departure locations depending on whether you are staying in Hervey Bay or Rainbow Beach. Please make sure you book the correct departure location. If you are staying in Hervey Bay, select pick up from Buccaneer Drive. If you are staying in Rainbow Beach, select pick up from Rainbow Beach Road.
The commencement of hotel pickups is approximately 2 hours prior to the departure time of the tour, you must make telephone contact with the local service provider to book the pickup and verify the exactness of your pickup time, this must be done at least 48hrs prior to the departure.

Seventy-Five Mile Beach
As you drive along this sandy highway, you may spot birds of prey flying above or humpback whales as they migrate past (between July – November). You may wish to join the Air Fraser team for a scenic flight over the island - book with your guide on tour (optional extra).

His energy was contagious and I loved the stories and history he shared with us:) would absolutely recommend to anyone who wants to do a day tour! 5.00We had a great time on the K’gari day tour. Pete was incredibly knowledgable, fun and entertaining! On our way to the pick-up point we were delayed, but called ahead and they were more than happy to wait for us. It’s worth saying we took sickness tablets but felt fine and safe with Pete at the wheel! We’d recommend to anyone who’s considering whether to go to get this experience booked.

4.00K’Gari is a must do trip, especially to see 75 mile beach, Eli creek and lake Mackenzie. Unfortunately the weather was terrible on our day but we made the most of it, and the driver/guide was very knowledgeable. The bus was extremely bumpy due to the roads. Overall we enjoyed it but the weather did impact our experience

5.00Pete was the best tour guide we could imagine. He was very likable, funny, respectful, knowledgeable, entertaining and pragmatic: a true one man show who guided us through the day amusing and excitingly with the perfect itinerary. We learned so much about K’gari and its history and had a blast. Our two young kids enjoyed it just as much. Thank you, always again with explorer tours!

Not only do you get to see beautiful parts of the island including stunning lakes and beautiful landscapes you also get to see many different species of wildlife. Pete our tour guide had a wealth of knowledge. Kept us informed and entertained for the full trip!

5.00I had an amazing 3-day stay on Fraser Island and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our tour guide, Aidan, was absolutely fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and always making sure everyone was having a great time. He brought the island to life with stories, facts, and genuine passion for the place. The trip was packed with stunning scenery, fun activities, and plenty of moments that made the experience unforgettable. From the crystal-clear lakes to the breathtaking viewpoints, every day was a highlight. I enjoyed every minute of my time on Fraser Island and would 100% recommend this tour to anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure. 5.00Started off the day getting picked up in Rainbow beach by our tour guide Pete. From the very start he was friendly happy and welcoming. Guiding us through the amazing island Pete kept us informed and up to date with a fountain of information and on schedule. From the cleanliness of the bus to the value for money of activities provided it was an amazing experience and would definitely recommend. Shout out to Pete for handling the driving through the unexpected conditions of the beach and through tight roads. The lunch provided was amazing and well above average!

5.00Fraser island was beautiful highly recommend going, our tour guide Aidan was amazing very knowledgeable and a good laugh. The camp was nice and the kitchen was clean and everyone is extremely friendly. Overall Great experience and would do it all over again.
