Please note that Queensland law requires all guests travelling on our coaches to wear seat belts at all times, failure to do so could result in a Queensland Government fine.

This tour has separate departure locations depending on whether you are staying in Hervey Bay or Rainbow Beach. Please make sure you book the correct departure location. If you are staying in Hervey Bay, select pick up from Buccaneer Drive. If you are staying in Rainbow Beach, select pick up from Rainbow Beach Road.

The commencement of hotel pickups is approximately 2 hours prior to the departure time of the tour, you must make telephone contact with the local service provider to book the pickup and verify the exactness of your pickup time, this must be done at least 48hrs prior to the departure.

This tour is especially suitable to travelers without high-clearance 4WD vehicles. The 4WD tall bus is great! Learning the geology formation of the great sand body while rolling over it in a AC bus is a very enjoyable experience. Not much hiking, no need to wear hiking boots, simple hiking shoes or even flipflops are fine.

We saw all that was advertised which was great as the driver wasn't sure at the outset. Comfortable coach and a really interesting-but long day. Andrew Smith our driver and guide was great-knowledgeable and friendly.

This company has one of the worst policies I’ve ever encountered. Their 100% non-refundable policy means that once they have your money, you will never see it again—no exceptions! Even if you made a mistake while booking, fall sick, or face unexpected circumstances, they refuse to refund or reschedule. Their customer service is completely unhelpful and lacks any form of understanding or flexibility. They simply don’t care about their customers, only about keeping your money. Avoid this company at all costs! There are plenty of other businesses with fairer and more reasonable policies. Save yourself the frustration and book elsewhere!

This was a well organised day tour. The vehicle ride on Fraser Island was a bit bumpy and uncomfortable at times but well worth the trip to see the sights of what K’Gari has to offer. The lunch stop was very good with plenty of choice. The lake swim at Lake Mackenzie rounded off a nice day out.
