Recommended for guests to bring their own front-facing infant seats. Limited child seats are available at an additional charge on request.

Please note that Queensland law requires all guests travelling on our coaches to wear seat belts at all times, failure to do so could result in a Queensland Government fine.
This tour has separate departure locations depending on whether you are staying in Hervey Bay or Rainbow Beach. Please make sure you book the correct departure location. If you are staying in Hervey Bay, select pick up from Buccaneer Drive. If you are staying in Rainbow Beach, select pick up from Rainbow Beach Road.
The commencement of hotel pickups is approximately 2 hours prior to the departure time of the tour, you must make telephone contact with the local service provider to book the pickup and verify the exactness of your pickup time, this must be done at least 48hrs prior to the departure.

5.00Did the K'gari explorer one day tour from Hervey Bay this Australia Day. Dean was the guide for the day. 1. The tour was nicely coordinated with timely pick up, smooth transfer to/from the ferry and a comfortable all terrain bus while on the island. 2. Fraser Island is big and there's lot to cover in a day. This tour packs in the most beautiful things of the island in this 11 hour tour. Includes an elaborate buffer lunch at K'Gari Beach resort. 3. the tour allowed for enough time at each of the spots and didn't feel rushed at all. Even accommodated a scenic flight (beach take off/landing), which some of us on the tour opted for. 4. Dean, the guide definitely made the day memorable. While he introduced himself as one of the newest tour guides with this operator, he displayed an elaborate knowledge of the islands history, culture, flora and fauna. He had a great attitude, brilliant communicator and kept the atmosphere lively with his informative commentary. Exactly the type of person one would wish to have as a tour guide.

5.00We had an amazing day trip to K’Gari with Keith! He was an awesome guide full of so much knowledge all the way from history to biology!! We really enjoyed the bus, the sites and the buffet lunch was great too, catering for gluten free was a bonus. Overall would highly recommend.

5.00The best trip ever! Our guide Andy loves the island, exceptional background explanations and smooth drive. You don't have to worry about anything! Just hope on to the 4WD bus and enjoy offroad ride then take you to the paradise. I did same tour 15years ago, there is reason we came again as a family.

5.00What a great 1 day trip to K’gari. Keith was amazing! So knowledgeable, funny, a perfect guide! I was very impressed by the respect he showed for the original inhabitants of Australia seeking joy in spreading their stories giving us a new respect for the beautiful surroundings and how it is cared for.
