Please note that Queensland law requires all guests travelling on our coaches to wear seat belts at all times, failure to do so could result in a Queensland Government fine.
This tour has separate departure locations depending on whether you are staying in Hervey Bay or Rainbow Beach. Please make sure you book the correct departure location. If you are staying in Hervey Bay, select pick up from Buccaneer Drive. If you are staying in Rainbow Beach, select pick up from Rainbow Beach Road.
The commencement of hotel pickups is approximately 2 hours prior to the departure time of the tour, you must make telephone contact with the local service provider to book the pickup and verify the exactness of your pickup time, this must be done at least 48hrs prior to the departure.

Seventy-Five Mile Beach
As you drive along this sandy highway, you may spot birds of prey flying above or humpback whales as they migrate past (between July – November). You may wish to join the Air Fraser team for a scenic flight over the island - book with your guide on tour (optional extra).

2.00Expect to spend most of the day in the bus, 30min in the lake, 20 min forest walk, 30min lunch, 15 minutes in the creek. The shipwreck stop didn't happened, not even mention by the tour guide. Probably due to lack of time but it would have been good to be informed this was not going to happen or did it?.... see, after lunch we were driven to the creek and told we had 15min if we wanted to get in, when we went to the bus it was not there it had gone further up the beach with about 4 people not sure if they were taken to see the shipwreck. Most of the group was upset, very unhappy about skipping this stop. We lost about 20min on the way to the lake because of "traffic", one road with bus tours and people on both diection (unfortunate but it is understable) this should be better manage by the island/park operators. On the way back the bus broke down and we were stuck for about 2 hrs on the beach until the company organised for another bus to pick us up, the company response was good over all, they had to organise private barge transfer as it was after hours. We also received a 50% refund. Is it worth it? For the price, probably not. The experience might be worth it for some, better to book a smaller tour than the big bus.
It was a brilliant day...

5.00It was a brilliant day for activities and viewing the sights of Fraser Island/K'gari. Our driver, John, was excellent. Knowledgeable and relaxed. The only part that was a bit of a let down was the lunch at the resort. The food was cold and a bit flavourless.

5.00Great day out in a 4 x4 bus. Tour the island and get to parts you can’t reach any other way. Fraser lake was amazing. 75 mile beach is something else. Food was great and even though our bus broke down it didn’t take the enjoyment out of the day and we still got to do everything. Jean our driver was fantastic even with the problem with the bus.

5.00The beginning was frustrating waiting around for the bus but everything else was fantastic. The ferry over was quick and got straight into the tour. The guide was fantastic, the food was so sooo good and the views and experience itself was just the absolute best. Highly recommend
