The Guba-Shahdag tour is a journey through the European part of Azerbaijan. During this tour you will visit candy-cane mountains in Khizi district, ride through the forest-tunnel through which sunshine barely comes through, you will enjoy Azerbaijani national cuisine. The last destination to visit on this tour famous Shahdag, one of two major ski resorts in Azerbaijan, where you will enjoy Shahdag Mountain Coaster.

In Khizi we will visit the mountains that are unique in their appearance. Candy Cane Mountains (also called Colored Mountains, Agate Mountains and Rainbow Mountains) are popularly called for their similarity in color to sugar candies in purple stains.

Very well handled by our tour guide Mr Syed he did a very good job of giving us full details about the history of Azerbaijani the surroundings in detail answering all our queries all through the trip. He was very good at his job. The only disappointment about the tour was this was not the right season to visit as the entire landscape was dry and mostly barren because of the climate change . I guess it will be very beautiful to visit in December as the place like Shahdag will be covered in snow and the drive to the place would be more impressive than what it is now. Currently all the trees were without leaves and looked all dry.

This was a perfect day trip to explore Azerbaijan and nature places. Our guide Vusala was more than amazing. She has such a positive energy that made this trip feels extra pleasant. She was very hospitable and shared a lot of useful information with us. Highly recommend.

We have had a wonderful day trip from baku to guba and shahdag mountains. The place is awesome with a lovely view. Our guide Seyid was a very nice person and explained a lot of things about Azerbaijan and the places which we visited.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience exploring Shahdag and Khizi! The landscapes were breathtaking, and the journey was smooth and comfortable throughout. We had an amazing tour with Mr Seyidağa , he is extremely friendly and gave us so much information about the trip and Azerbaijan in general , very interactive with us and the driver was very good to us , anyone who ever wants to do any tour in Azarbaijan should definitely go with ATI !
