What a fantastic day. We dodged the rain in Kilkenny, taking in the cathedral and its’ beautiful windows. Glendalough cannot be described; the walk was peaceful and awe inspiring. The visit to Cullen Farm was terrific, the view from the life of a working farmer simply fantastic. Holding a little lamb was the frosting on an amazing day.’

Glendalough was so amazing and so beautiful! Paul had great facts and was very funny. Peter was a very safe driver. This tour is worth its price! It’s an all day experience but the bus ride gives you plenty of time to nap in between activities.

We had an excellent experience on the Wild Rover Tours Kilkenny Medieval City, Wicklow Mountains, and Glendalough Day Tour from Dublin. The entire trip was exceptionally well organized from start to finish. The schedule was thoughtfully planned, with just the right amount of time at each location to explore, take photos, and enjoy the surroundings without feeling rushed. Kilkenny was a fascinating stop, full of history and charm, while the Wicklow Mountains offered breathtaking scenery. Glendalough was the highlight of the day, with its beautiful landscapes and rich historical atmosphere. A special mention goes to our guide, Ian, who was excellent throughout the day. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and shared interesting historical facts and local insights that made the experience even more enjoyable. His organization and clear communication helped ensure everything ran smoothly and on schedule. The tour was well managed and stress-free from beginning to end. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to see some of Ireland’s most beautiful and historic sites in a single day.

The weather is a bit unpredictable in Ireland, with showers or drizzle, so don’t forget your rain jacket and layer up! Kilkenny has some lovely cafes. Take a stroll outside the castle and explore the city for great coffee. The castle self-guided tour is a good way to see it, and I especially enjoyed the portrait gallery and the impressive extinct deer antlers. The Wicklow Mountains are truly stunning, and they give you a great sense of the Emerald Isles. The Glendalough walk was wonderful, especially the monastic side and the lower lake. It was raining most of the time, though. The coffee at the lodge was okay, it could be better. Our guide Maurcie was amazing, providing great details and delivery was funny. Sarah did a great job of driving us safely. The pickup at Leonardo Hotel was scheduled for 8:10 am, and we arrived at 7:50 am as instructed in Viator boarding doc. However, we ended up waiting for no apparent reason until 8:25am. The instructions were unclear, and when we inquired, the staff informed us that the pickup time was between 8:10 and 8:30 am. Our recommendation is arrive by 8:10 am to avoid unnecessary waiting and the inconvenience of waiting in the rain. Unfortunately, the same issue occurred on our next day trip, where we were also delayed for 30 minutes. It seems that the staff is prioritizing their own convenience over the passengers’ needs.
